metal halide question

why does my 400w mh emit a slightly yellowish hue unlike my cfls w/c is blue-ish? do i have the wrong type of mh?

Are you sure it is a metal halide and not High pressure sodium?

im sure its mh bro. pulse start quartz says on the box color may differ characteristic of metal halide lamps bla bla bla

some mh have more of a blue spectrum... some have a yellow...I like the yellow cause I use mh for the entire grow...

what brand is the bulb? hortilux makes an MH daylight blue bulb that is basically full spectrum and has a chart similar to a CMH bulb. could be one of those.

If all you wanna do is grow some head stash to smoke and aren't too worried about specifics then as long as you got a HID you are good 2 go brotha. Namaste!

Only hear-say from 3 stores in 3 different states, but Digilux may be the brand to stay away from. I'll use 600w bulbs and SunMaster was recommended. You have better choices with 400w bulbs...IMHO.

thanks! hope this will work. the landrace bagseeds that im testing now seems normal @day 3 but damn the temp raises from 26°C to 34°C when i close the cabinet door and i have exhausts and intake im planning on making a diy cooltube! even have an a/c unit outside the cabinet near the intake would i rather open the door or close it? the light is waay too strong and some ppl may notice it lol lights on @ 5pm-11am
