Hygrozyme VS Cannazyme in Subs SS, & would Bio-Boost work in the SS?

Tittle says it. I want to use this Bio-Canna Bio-Boost and Cannazyme I have sitting around, I believe in enzyme products, Bio Boost was affective before I used SS so why couldn't it complement Subs SS? Also Molasses, Fulvic Acid, Ful-Power... any supplements you know you can use in SS... SILICA BLAST!? Summers here are HOT!

Thank you!

one of the best attributes of super soil, is the lack of bottled supplementation......it is really about keeping it simple....yet achieving incredible results......when i started using super soil, i still had the mind set that more had to be better, so i would sneak in a little of this "booster" or that additive or whatever, and really just fucked myself......it wasn't until i followed the directions precisely and resisted the impulses to try to "make it work better", that i actually got it to blow away anything i did prior......my advise to people who want to tweak, and add, is first do a run by following the directions exactly.....it will establish a base-line for experimentation....then start making little tweaks from there, and document it like a scientist......when it comes to soil, 90% of the bottles with shiny, colorful labels at the grow shop are a complete waste of money.....even the ones targeted for soil.............sub will say it till he is blue in the face, just try it as is, and you will be very satisfied.....trust what 1000's of growers already know! tga is working their new super soil as we speak....they completely took apart the recipe, and put it back together, and from what i gather, made very small tweaks......the avengers probably have a few hundred years of growing experience combined......i am going to trust that they are not leaving anything out.:-P:-P

i use hygrozyme, liquid karma, and sucanat (basically same as molasses).. and i think it boosts the effectiveness of supersoil. i have ran supersoil by itself and im happier with these additives. i would use hygrozyme over cannazym because i think hygrozyme is more organic/natural than canna. liquid karma is all your humic/fulvic plus extra.. it makes your plants uptake more outside of ideal ph ranges, so it maximizes plants potential in the soil. sucanat is a sweetener that feeds the microbes, and also adds some potassium and makes your buds frostier and tastier. i like it better than molasses because in my experience molasses can mask the natural flavors of your herb both in smell and taste. sucanat does not do this, it intensifies the natural genetic flavor of each strain.

i also think that the top buds finish a week earlier with these additives. than they do without.

i thought about silica blast myself, but i tried it one cycle and thought the plants did better without it. just use more azomite and you will have enough silica in there. if you really want to add more silica add some rice hulls to your soil mix

botanicare products mostly tend to be pretty salty. and salty can be bad in the soil mix. will make things less effective.

Wow thank you for all your replies! I have run SS by it self 2 times, this is my third run, the only reason I asked is because I had no choice but to let my plants sit in 1gals too long, and the roots didnt look too hot at transplant (Cannazyme). Also my Vortex and Agent Orange are taking longer than 55-60 days, more like 65-70 days wtf? (Bio-Boost). My grow tents are temperate so please dont say it must be an environmental issue as to why my plants take soo damn long.

I WANT TO PUT SILICA ROCKS ON TOP OF MY SOIL AS A MULCH THAT RELEASES SILICA WHEN I WATER OVER IT ALSO IT WOULD SPREAD THE WATER MORE EVENLY... RIGHT OR BAD IDEA?

....i am glad you mentioned that......when i was adding sups, i could not get my plants to finish!.......glad to hear you ran s.s. by itself...that was my point before, tweaking is great, and lots of fun, but is much more clear when a base-line is established! the first pic is a plant grown with me adding a bloom booster, and some fulvic, that just wouldn't finish at day 65.....they next pic is the same pheno, at 52 days with water/sucanat only....buds were the same size.

Nug has a point, if you over do the SS mix on some strains I have found they take much longer to finish. If you can start to see some fade around 2 weeks from you "expected" harvest date you are golden. But it takes a lot of tweaking.

My cheese is a bitch in the SS, but once you get your ratios right it works like a charm.

bro, this is my vortex at 54 days, she gets wacked tomorrow, she could have been harvested at 48! she is about 40% amber.......imho if your vortex is going real long, you need to re-evaluate what is allowing your nutes to trickle in and span her out...you want your girls to binge eat like a bulimic weeks 2 through 5......then start running out of food around day 40.....(depending on strain of course)...nugs:leaf:

Is it Cheesequake by chance? If so what is your ratio? I have a couple CQ's in veg. and it will be my first time running them and I have only started using SS with the girls I have in flower at 1 week now so I'm trying to get a feel for where I need to be with the CQ. I think Sub had said to go about 1/3 SS max. Anyone else have experience with em that would like to share? Thanks.

Not CQ, Exodus Cheese.... and I only give her about 25% SS to start and leave tons of room on top and give her about the same around week 3 or whenever it really starts to bud up, as a top feed. That has worked out great for me. I did a little more on my DQs that just went into flower to see how she goes.

Thank you nugbuckets!

What did you mean exactly here: "you need to re-evaluate what is allowing your nutes to trickle in and span her out"........?

I'm running Cheese Quake in 7-gal Smart Pots of Super Soil as we speak. I'm at about Day 9 of flowering. When I potted up from the 2-gal smarties, I used a 50/50 MIX of Roots Organic and SS (not layered, mixed). This equates out to about 35% of the 7-gal volume being Super Soil. Got very minimal leaf burn/claw for about a week after transplant, then they just took off.

Check out my grow log in this forum if you're interested. I'll be posting pictures throughout bloom.
