Found this ditty today....i polished it a little. LOL. Yous from here know wut I'm about...

"I'm from Philly. I curse a lot and I say YO. I know what real pizza tastes like and I know that a bagel is more than a roll with a hole in the middle. It's a HOAGIE, not a sub or a grinder, and I wash it down wit soda. WIZ WIT is how you ask for a cheesesteak with onions.
1am is an early night out and all good nights must end at a diner. A beer can be known as a cold one and we can get it all hours of the day and night. Yeah I'll CAWL you later so we can TAWK. I drink WOODER and I love WOODER ICE. I use a TAIL to dry off. I know that 55mph really means 90 and when someone cuts me off in traffic they get the horn and the finger. They expect it. I can hold my own in a fight. I'm from PHILLY and 'what'? Go get me a cawfee."

i wish i could find that skit from snl where they did a boston accent vs philly accent. fucking hilarious. i can't find the video anywhere. the best i could do is the transcript. it kind of sucks without the real accents but this was one of the funniest things i saw on that show in the past 10 years. try to read it in the appropriate accent lol.


Amy Poehler (in boston accent): Alright, you know what? Give me a break, we’re unstoppable. It’s our year, first the Red Sox, now the Super Bowl. OK, you can go cry in a pile of Philly cheese steaks, and watch that gay movie they named after your city.

Tina Fey (in philly accent): OK, OK, rebuttal. First of all, your whole city smells like baked bean farts. Second of all, how do youse even have time to go to the Super Bowl? Aren’t you too busy gettin’ molested by priests and cryin’ about it?
