i think the large investors hated that zuckerberg was running the company period. he should step aside and just do the hackathons and development.

they got what they wanted for now. $16 billion for r&d and expansion. their stock is gonna suffer for a while unless they roll out some sort of revenue generating plan. i wouldn't be surprised to see that they have something up their sleeve though.

it's gotta be something on the mobile phone side. they've been dumping tons of money into that department for years. just not sure what it would be though. i doubt they will try to get into the hardware side or even the OS side. they're already on most smartphones right now.

maybe a premium membership that costs money or even some sort of shopping portal. should be interesting though.
