az med grow 2012

setup is a 5 x 5 tent, with 1000watt hps cooltube(6"), 6 inch 440 cfm for light and 180 cfm for tent exaust with filter.I filled 9, 5 gallon grow bags loosley with ffof soil mixed 2.5 to 1 with perlite and dolomite lime.The nutrients for the grow will be almost organic with advanced nutrients iguana juice grow/bloom, hygrozyme,kangaroots,voodoo,b 52, bud candy, overdrive,and humbolts snow storm.

These shots are from day 4. For nutrients ive only given additives, cuz ffof soil has alot of nutes, even if u cut it with alot of perlite. I gave them b 52,hygrozyme,ff bushdoctor kangaroots,voodoo juice, and distilled water.ph tested 6.3


These shots are from day 9 veg everythings going amazing they are taking off! Just watered with distilled water and hygrozyme this week.Also added two 19 watt 5000k cfls 1200 lumens each. They are not for lumens i have a 1000 watt hps! i just wanna get a blue spectrum in there for potency later.Im going to get Y for each socket so ill have four 19 watt 5000k cfls at about 5000 lumens of extra growth spectrum! Oh yea i have three strains going, 4 Confidential Cheese, 3 Vanilla Kush, and 2 Mr Nice! The two Mr nice clones are different phenos so thatll be interesting.

I will keep you guys posted throughout this medical grow any questions or advice is appreciated.

Alright guy update I just got done with my screen ill post pics tonite and give details tomoro... im tired it took a while to make it! alot longer than i thot ! I also added four, 23 watt 5000k daylight cfl bulbs @ 1600 lumens a each! 6400 lumens 156,400 total lumens in a 5 by 5 by 8 tent! Again cfls are not for lumens i have a 1000 watt hps but i wanna boost my spectrum for extra potency. check it out...

Ditch all the fans and all that intake and exhaust. You don't need it. Thats just the hydro store selling more shit.

Seal it off, pump in cold ac and keep it at 82 degrees. Then keep a Co2 tank giving you PPMS of 1200-1400 when lights are on.

Simple.

Thanks man im hoping to yield 1 or hopfully two pounds. Do you think thats possible with 9 plants with 6454 lumens per sq ft,mixed spectrum.temps never exceeding 85 and my nute line as described above? I definately think if i can pull that from filling 80 percent of the 256 holes in my screen that should give me? lets say i fill 200 holes in the screen and each bud when dry is 6 grams thatll be 1200 grams!one pound is 454 grams! ill probably fill 220 or 230 holes plus have some buds outside the perimeter of the screen

Day 19 update!!! Question????
When should i flip? ive read so many different opinions and i need a few more to decide. I have the screen 24 inches away, there is a 12 inch gap from the soil line to the net. I have 9 plants 6 of which are insanely bushy but three that arent. all the main tips have reached the screen do i flower now or wait until some of the lower nodes reach the net or flower now because of the big stretch in flowering. I just dont want to flip too early or too late. any imput is appreciated here are some pics from today

Well ive changed from a dude who flips around week 5 to a guy who will now be flipping at around week 8. I want HUGE plants and huge buds. Also my plant count is now lower as I lost a patient.

The Rule of Thumb for scrogs is thus: Veg and weave until you have 75% of the screen filled. THEN you flower.

  • UPDATE az med scrog day 8 flower!
    Been only using quarter strength of all my nutes and plants are looking lush and vigorous! I feed 1 gallon to each plant every 3 days,I water with distilled h20 and hygrozyme between feedings. I like to feed to them only when hungry, I hate to overfert, learned my lesson with that long time ago! Hygrozyme breaks down all nutrients to make them available.I like to hear my ladies bellies rumble a little before feeding!lol.I also added 1 ml per gallon of humbolts snow storm ultra(basically alfalfa extract=Triacantonal Bad ass growth inhibitor!and potash)Anyways, the grow is going awesome,screen is FULL! and getting fuller each day! I have to do an hour training sess each morning with them, tucking leaves and shoots! ill never make my screen 24 inches tall again! My fucking back hurts!lol.The plants would be about three and a half feet tall if the screen wasnt there its amazing how many budsites there are! the screen has 256 holes in it and i have plants stretching outside the pvc!.Ill continue to train until week 3 flower then i just have to keep tucking leaves and water.I also lowered my 1000 watt hps about 4 inches, it was 24 inches away from the canopy!You wouldnt believe how much more intensity 4 inches adds, thank you zo0t for pointing that out! Amazing ladies you have there, definitely going to sub! You are doing everything like I want to be doing except I want to do it with a 600w dimmable. One question, did APS trip on you for raising your electricity so fast when you started using the 1000w? I've heard mixed stories about APS and Prop 203 patients.
