1st Autoflower grow: la diva

Hey everyone,

I'm pretty new here, I've been looking at some other grows for some time and decided I should share mine as well. This will be my first Autoflower grow so if anyone has any comments/concerns please let me know.

Ill be posting some pics at some point soon but here is a little bit about what's going on..
The strain is la diva, she's been going for about 19 days now and starting to show some sex.
Im using some miracle grow expanding soil,(the bag looked cool so I said fuck it) with some regular patio sand on top (about an inch or so) just to keep the soil bugs out. I've noticed a should be throwing some perlite in there
but I'll do that next time. I have a 90w LED UFO light that I'm using at the moment, I plan on switching to a 400w MH once she starts flowering a little more.. Any opinions on how that might affect the yeild?

Well that's all I can think of at the moment if anyone has anything to add please don't hesitate.

Good luck, try to do the full 24 hours of light though. I have a Low Girl on a 18 6 light schedule and biznich hasn't grown for shiznit.

Lol yeah I've been running 24\7 for 16 days and just switched to 18/6 on the 18th of this month. Mines about 7in tall right now. How long have yours been going?

IMG_2314.jpgHeres my La Diva...45 days old. Im using 4 2' t5 bulbs. 2- 3000k and 2- 6500k, runing lights at 24/0..shes taking care of her self. I barely do anything but water her. I killed my first 8 seeds trying to get it right. She was a freebie and took off from day 1...( I think I love her). :-P

Whats up .....I have been an outside grower for a LONG time.....have used bag seed with no complaints..I'm fortunate though I have a friend that has been growing inside for about as long as I've been growing outside......so I have acsess to quality clones when I need them........well last year I decided to purchase seeds....high quality great results....this past winter I purchased some auto's......Germinated them with my regular seeds....I currently have 15 plants. Lost one of the auto's which was w freebie from one of the seed companys.....pulled another when it showed it's sex...At this moment I have 2 super sour 60's from mdanzig.....was worried to begin with.....but at this polnt am quite impressed....with it's growth at this moment it has been in the ground since 4/12....it or they were stagnant for sometime....before they really started growing....they havent showed their sex yet but I guess since the freebie I got had already showed it's sex....I'm confident the remalning plants will b females.....but I guess I could be wrong..... will try and get good photos and share with everyone.....at some point........

Haha that's cool, I haven't been growin too long but I feel I'm not doing too bad. Only had one successful harvest so far. I tired to post some pics but I took them with my iPhone. When I tired to save them on my computer the pics came out humongous so I'll have to make them smaller. Thanks everyone for keeping my thread alive lol..

Keep up the good work fellas!

My camera takes pics as 4680 x 3500(or close to it) and are usually 4-6 mb per when I upload to RIU it makes it a lot smaller. RIU will only allow pics to be a certain size.

My La Diva is about 2 to 3 weeks from harvest, I think. She is outside, and my first grow, so no help / knowledge to give on the lighting situation. I will say, also, that patience helps, because autos seem to take a little time to start sizing up, but when they take off, they REALLY take off! Even with all the stress I caused all of my strains in the beginning of the grow, they have all shaped up pretty nicely, even though I did lose SOME yield, I am VERY pleased with what I'll be harvesting...

looking good there wolfie. I just planted my La Divas in pots yesterday. waiting for them to sprout now... cant hardly wait. patience is not one of my virtues but I guess I have no choice in the matter...lol
