Sometimes I listen to techno with bass so loud that I know it's damaging my hearing, but I can't bring myself to turn it down. Relationships are sometimes like that. Even though you know they're damaging you, for whatever reason you stick it out. I think the wiser choice would be to leave and seek affection elsewhere, but sometimes we can't bring ourselves to turn down the music.....

this is true , but one thing, if you get shanked in an ally and almost die, you never go back there .. ever unless its for revenge . but when people fall in love and it destroys them for years. why do we tell them they have to go back. i mean its like banging your head on a wall. love ... (THat kind anyway) is against human nature

And some of us, no matter how hard we try, will not be "good" enough for majority of people.
I do believe you can have a soul mate, ive seen the proof, but it seems to be random and arbitrary.
and i am incredibly bitter. Because despite anything that is good about me, it never matters.
Everything is decided by my looks, or by something else stupid and unfair.
I never even had a bf, not once, no matter how much I tried to be the right kind of girl, (not jealous, demanding, needy)
The only boy who gave me the time of day, gave me any sort of physical affection, just used me, never gave me anything back except for a bare portion of what i was giving
funny thing is, when I met him, from the moment we started talking, I wanted no one else.
its been a few months now, and I am trying to move on, but every guy I meet cant make me get the same feeling I did the first time I met that dude.

So, love is for those who deserve it, and soulmates ares hard to find.

I told my wife I want a concubine. She said hell no.

However, she's 30-70 on the Sisterwife idea...as long as the other woman is bisexual and can clean good. That's progress. She's as close to a soul mate as my crazy ass is ever going to get.

Its true! Looks dont matter! A few years ago, I was dating a woman who was bigger and her face may not have been as aesthetically pleasing as other women I have dated. I did that thinking maybe a less attractive woman would be less scandalous and/or petty as I become accustomed to.

How wrong I was.

Look at most people your age and their relationships, its absolutely ridiculous. Your really better off than some slags out there Urca. Watch out who you compare yourself to :)
