Diablos Kush was designed to be a plant that would have a soaring, long lasting high with a fruity taste and decent yield. It is a connoisseur strain with commercial viability. This strain is brand new to the world, this year, but I have been working on it for the past 3 years. I love this plant and recommend it to anybody who wants a good yielding plant that will obtain AAA results in the finished product. It is easy to grow and easy to manage due to the low leaf to flower ratio. No pruning, easy to trim, grows very well behaved and orderly. It tastes awesome, the high is stellar and the effect is long lasting, up to 3 hours. It is a real F1 hybrid so all of the plants grow exactly the same every time and it has heterosis (hybrid vigour). Although it is easy to grow, I do not recommend this plant for novice smokers due to the cerebral high. It may be too much for some, especially young, people.
Diablos Pink Kush is an experimental strain (genetically modified organism) and is a triploid. Pink Kush is a tetraploid and was used as the mother plant. Pink Kush is some of the strongest pot on the planet and tastes excellent. It is however, the worst growing plant that I have ever seen. It is a tired strain and is extremely susceptible to spider mites due to the over-cloning. I wanted to create a plant that would have a better yield and refresh the genetics. I am still in the experimental stage with these seeds. It is a real triploid and should create killer smoke. This plant should be bushier than a regular plant but not quite as bushy as Pink Kush. It will not have the spider mite issue due to the refreshed genetics. Expect to feed and water this plant at about 30% more than a regular plant. I recommend 60% more for Pink Kush or another tetraploid. Polyploids are much higher in THC due to the increased density.
NOTE:
Please do not confuse triploids with whorled phyllotaxy. Tetraploids and triploids never revert back to regular diploid branch/leaf configuration while whorled phyllotaxy will. Whorled phyllotaxy is not the same thing as polyploids but look similar. Pink Kush is a tetraploid. Diablos Pink Kush is a triploid. Triploids cannot pollinate with diploids or tetraploids due to a chromosone mismatch. All tetraploids are created chemically and are considered genetically modified organisms.
