They were under 2 each for the first 45-50 days and then the 2 of them shared 3 lights. Too bad LEDs can't grow big dense buds The OG Kush buds are definitely between medium and high density and those a13 buds I just harvested I already know will be pretty dense based on the sample I quick dried already - at least as dense as any other medium density strain under HPS. I gotta say these are definitely as big/bigger than any I grew under my 600w hps.... LEDs can definitely put out good buds. My friend came over today... he had a bowl of og kush and could barely finish the bowl... by that time I was already on the apollo and telling him how much better it was... he definitely got really blown out. The apollo is getting better as it cures. It is definitely more potent now than the quick air dried buds from just after harvest. I wouldn't say it's the holy grail I'm seeking, but it's definitely really good. Of course they are supposed to get better with age the next clone run could be substantially more potent even to get into grail territory I'm curious to see how well it does on tolerance... right now when I hit the apollo I can feel it hitting me every draw - curious to see how long that holds out. It is putting me in a really happy place this morning during trimming I was just about in my own bubble reality.

I've already chopped and hung the plant... the immature seeds are still bud-like and not fully formed or hard looks just like small clusters of preflowers in the buds. I just hope it didn't effect potency too much. Looks really frosty, resiny and just as good as the other apollo but i have no idea what those seeds are going to do to the thc levels. Sure it will still be good but if it's not great i'll be wondering if that's why... of course i'll find out in round 2

Iv kinda wondered how you manage a morning crew and night crew. Are you home all the time? Its a great idea but I cant see myself doing it.

It's not easy i just have to make sure the 12 hours are when i'm here... once I get moved and get new grow room set up/get some flowering plants done, I'm going to set up hps/led combo lighting and go to a normal 12/12... have just about had it with the moving... but it accomplished the goal of getting more plants done so I could get stocked up until the next grow's done.

Just finished trimming the branch that broke off.... it went limp fast and I didn't have time to get to it yesterday so it was real damp and sticky... hella sticky and resin covered. Should be some medium density buds when done but she's got some plumping up to do still for sure.



Oh yeah I don't think I mentioned it but started the new grow thread for the new seeds.... it is in my sig. Seeds are in the soil... just waiting for'em to come up.

Not yet the great thing about having curing bud is I can be a bit more patient on the new plants coming up... the white russian is pretty small (compared to the apollos) and will be pleasantly surprised if I get over 2oz... so trying to leave the buds on there to get as much as possible As my apollo is curing and getting better i'm seeing how much of a waste it is smoking the quick dried early buds... pretty big difference.

More plant pics... I think something is wrong with my camera it's giving me a weird pattern on the pics and off colored tint.. ugh!

I'm waiting for the moisture to be gone... the buds feel almost dry, but the sucker still easily weighs over a pound last I checked. Looks like it'll definitely be at least 4oz.

Some of the older pics in the thread you should be able to see... i'll take some more next time... but basically they are just 2 or 3 inches apart basically one big ass long LED in the cab... they are spaced out in the closet lengthwise a bit more

That sour kush is a fucking shrubbery It's as big as one of those outdoor ones at this point and growing like a big ass bush. In a dream world I'd be in a house surrounded not by shrubs but sour kush... check out how trich covered she is early into flower too... she may give the TGA stuff a run for its money

The only difference is I moved one of the lights out of the cab and into the closet but the layout's the same as far as how everything's oriented for both closet/cab. Will be re-laying everything out in a month or so for next grow want to get on a single 12/12 cycle and not be switching out plants

Took the apollo and med man branches down and clipped the buds to weigh and put in jars. 101.5g (3.625oz) - Didn't get 4 like I had hoped - and it wasn't as dense as I had expected either... about the same or a touch more than the other one, which is to say low-medium density depending on how far up the plant it was. I am leaning more and more towards seeing what would happen if I combo them with the 400w - As soon as I figure out how to hang all those lights in the way I want (with the 400w in the center and 4 240ws surrounding it (1 each) on each side. I will probably as soon as I have the $$ go ahead and order another 240w veg light and then have 5 240ws surrounding the 400w hps. Then I can go to a regular 12/12 schedule and not be swapping plants out all the time... the question is can the heat be managed where I'm moving. We'll see.

Based on what I got off the medicine man branches, I estimate I'm going to get between 2 and 2.5 oz off the medicine man - could end up being more if it plumpens up a lot. Not sure when I'm going to take it... lower buds looking fairly done but not the top... she's got nice density when she's dry - as dense or denser than the og kush and denser than the white rhino I grew under 600w hps a few years back. She's got room to plump up a bit before she finishes so 3 is within the realm of possibiity.

I'm estimating for the first batch that went into flower 14+oz.

These plants ended up being the red headed step children of this grow. They got a bad rep for mutant traits when they first sprouted -- for example this one self topped itself after it's first node and spent a couple of weeks growing a couple of big leaves while waiting for side branching to start. It's sibling was the first seedling I think I ever culled just for being too runty/stunted. Other two ended up being males. One of the other siblings that favored more sativa traits was my favored selection of this strain - but then ended up male. In flower, this one has become the young gawky girl who starts turning into a hottie. She just gets better and better as she's going. Deep Chunk is supposed to be 100% indica, and this is definitely more indica dominant than my indica pheno apollo (also parented by genius) - so I'm curious to see how much of the genius/apollo traits show up in flowering and in the smoke. I didn't clone her, but if she ends up being really good I do have more seeds. I topped her not long after she branched out, so she has 4 main stalks of relatively equal size.

I don't even measure per jar. I just try to get as much in without compressing the buds as possible.

I'll let you and void know when I have cuts rooted -- don't want to do you like I did last time and give him cuts and then not have them root Blueberry cut and romulan from void both looking great so far.

Yeah even after the heat on the car ride(s) the other day, all the one I got were spunky still. Got some soil today and potting up shortly.
