Michigan Restaurants

Belle has said that atleast once a month for the last 8 years. lmao. There are absolutely more trolls up here in the UP than Yoopers. Not a doubt in my mind. We used to be a minority. lmao. I guess the sound of growing weed, less neighbors, great hunting and fishing sounds good to a lot of trolls. I love it, but I miss the city so much it is stupid. I am sure I will be between the two my entire life. If I am not growing 16 foot monsters in the mountains of northern cali. I think a coney and a Happys Pizza would rock up here. One dude tried a coney in Marquette, but it sucked balls and was double the price. lol. There used to be a few A & W close by, they do the job. But they closed. There is still one in Iron Mountain.

Well maybe thats where I need to go. Open up a breakfast joint, corner the market and then go home to a U.P. sized garden lol.

There are a ton of mediocre restaurants. Very very few great ones. Great food and great meds are in high demand everywhere, but it is ridiculous up here. lol. The bridge is only 50 years old. Seriously the UP is just starting to get settled. If you come, bring a few cell phone towers with you please. lmao.

I think I just read somewhere they were bullshitting about succession from Michigan. I think the proposed name was the state of Superior. (Cause those rumors have always been around)
What you don't like driving to Marquette or the nearest big city just to get cell phone service? lol
When I was in Negaunee a fews years back thats what we had to do.

-The Giant System in Dearborn Heights (now closed for renovations)
-Carter's Hamburger's in Allen Park (Who doesn't love a slider or six from time to time? lol)
-The Pallette Dining Studio in MGM Grand Casino in Downtown Detroit (Extremely expensive but by far the best buffet I've ever had.)
-Lum's Chinese Carry Out in Dearborn Heights (Gives enough food to feed an entire family for 6-8$ and it is DEElicious!)
-Pizza Papalis in Downtown Detroit's Greektown District (Best pizza in the Verse', just ask Captain Mal)

Georgios in E Lansing... goes real well w medicine too. G. Is open late-night, after the bar crowd even. And California Pizza Kitchen, as I recall -from my CA Days- back when the chain started, ala 20 yrs ago... thin crust wood fired!

I've cooked in everything from fast food to fine dining and I can assure you that other that a few waitresses there is nothing at Bob Evans that I want to eat. I admit they do a good job at competing with Dennys but that about all.

Not tryin to disrespect YOU AT ALL, but I beg to differ. I've eaten at both pizza Places, an G's taste like papa johns if they started wiping There ass with the crust. It taste way to generic, Bernieos is the most Unique pizza place I've eaten. Their crust is handmade an handtossed,Their topping selection is unlike any-other place ive experienced. From Custom to their premade pizzas you will never take a bite an Be dissapointed. If you ever get the chance check them out Try the "twist" or if your a spicy guy like me try the "firebird level 2" An if your man enough you could try their "firebird challenge"

Again no disrespect meant to you just my 2 cents

Thanks, I think. Up here in the Sagnasty its pretty hard to find good food unless you cook it yourself (I can't think of any kick ass made from scratch place in town) Luckily I've had the munchies for about 25 years and can make just about anything!
