How do you find the willpower to take tolerance breaks...

Everyday I try and wait as long as I can to smoke. Usually don't make it past 6:00pm. Still getting ripped every day as long as I don't smoke too early in the day.

This is tough to do since I work from home.

BTW - It's almost 4:00pm. Here come the shakes........

Last time I stopped for 6mos. I sharpened my Bui Tze and took up a few new programming languages.

for me, once my tolerance gets to that point where weed isn't fun any more, the break just sort of happens on its own. i just think, "why bother?" and go do something else. i never had a problem stopping unless i was stuck in the house for days with no tv and internet. then it was either weed or booze and i chose weed.

my secret sleep aid is 2 benadryll and a few mg of melatonin. forcible unconsciousness.

i once ate a whole bottle of that calms forte crap and it didn't do shit. i've tried every over the counter thing there is and the benadryll and melatonin is a real winner.

Not sure if it was suggested. But use concentrates for your daily needs and when its time for a tolerance break smoke buds until you feel you want to get super ripped again, then back onto your preferred extract. It only takes 48 hours without dabs before I get punched in the face like a little canadian boy again :) Best of luck, as I've really only lasted a couple weeks w/o our beloved herb so IME I'm in your boat.. lol

I only take tolerance breaks from Strains. I find a tolerance builds when I am stuck on a single strain and I make certain to switch around often now between my favorites. Still can't find me a Trainwreck or Blueberry that does much... they are what I learned this strain tolerance from way back. Hope it helps :bigjoint:

^^ i can see some connection to this myself. i never really smoke on the same strain for days. i always mix it up through out the day and i dont think i have much of a tolerance. one hit gets me super high. as for taking a break if it were me i would just go downtown and walk around, go to stores, skateboard, go to parks, just keep my mind busy with other things to do. i dont think about smoking alot, only when im not doing anything much

Well this is what's worked for me: Just understand the longer you wait the higher you will be later, try not to be dependent on this wonderful plant, you are not some junkie. I myself vape a very little amount before I go to sleep on a daily basis, but I only have sessions on Fridays to Sundays. You have to simply close the stash and leave it somewhere out of sight. It will take time and effort of course, but in the end if you are only toking a few times a week I feel you will be happier and higher.
