Growing in attic

I want to grow in my attic in Ireland. Its not too hot up there but there is insulation up there but its covered by plastic sheeting stuff. There is insulation on the ground in between the beams but my plan is to get a foundation by putting thin planks of wood across it to cover the insulation and have a platform for pots to rest on. Its kinda dusty up there and has kinda of bad fumes when you go up but maybe thats just the dust. There is a water tank up there but my plants wont be near it. Is the location suitable there is a plug point iswell, would i need to get a fan for the coolness and maybe to stop dust?

Clean up the place and you can set up a grow room there just fine. Yes you'll need an inline fan if you'll be using 400w HPS or more for lights.

Yes. You would honestly need to do quite a bit of work to get an attic grow going, but it could be well worth it. First thing I'd do is sit up there in the dark to see if there are any light leaks that you would want to cover. Next I would get a thermometer and a humidity meter to see what the environment is like. You could hang a chandelier of CFLs or do some HPS HID lamps. How many plants you want, and what size yield you looking for?

Maybe 4 or 5, would that take up much space? Im only new what does size yield mean? Also do yee have any links to videos on youtube that show you how to grow, but are simple to follow?

You tube cannabis or marijuana growing tips. They have tons of how-to videos. Yield is how many oz you want.

Yeah man. You need to research, research, research, if you want a problem free startup and grow. You get any seeds yet? Think low odor if you haven't. I got these strawberry blue seeds because my research led me to think they would be low odor. I was right, you really can't tell I'm growing and I'm only a couple weeks from finishing. Good luck. :peace:
