Hey Lady, I'm going to wal-mart in a bit to go get the same humdity/temp reader you do. Where's the best place to put it? In the bin or just anywhere in the closet?

In the bin def...mostly you want to have it near your lights for the most accurate temp, but that's not as relevant in a bin since it's such a small area to begin with. Mine is velcro'd to the side on the same level as lights. By the way, I bought that one at Lowes, it was 5-8 bucks. I can't remember! But it's cheap.

Hey lady, had to read your thread to see your beautiful dog. I may have missed if you said the name?
Along the way, saw some very well self informed thought happening and became gripped. Great job on the tub/cab you have there.
Your girlies are looking very nice as well. Have you started using teas yet? You will enjoy the shit out of making them(all smells aside, it's natural though;) )

Oh and before I forget, I love the great attitude around here.

His name is "Roman" and thanks for the compliment on him! :-D

I am delighted that my grow interested you! A lot of times I feel like I'm babbling, but I really enjoy when people put every little detail about their grow... it usually gives insight and plenty of ideas. I learned more from the people growing on this site than a few books alone could teach! Makes me feel good to stimulate others as well, maybe inspire more people to try this grow and do it even better. I appreciate all your compliments

I have not started using teas yet...it is something that I am def interested in though...do you know of mixtures I could make without having to let them sit forever? Also, the less complicated the ingredients the better, am kind of pressed financially on this grow and am only able to grab a few things!

My computer is being a punk again, :) , there are lots of tea recipes here, I'm sure..

I have had the fortune to have been given a couple of gallons of locally made compost tea. As a tester for the company.
So, I haven't a need this year to brew my own.

Lucky!!! I have looked at a few, but most of the recipes I found require leaving the brew out to ferment or require multiple ingredients. My budget is kinda low and I don't have the space to keep a fermenting tea around (live in a small apartment). I guess I'll look a little harder!

You can do a simple one, just get some high quality, well composted compost, and throw into a sock or pillow case and soak in a 5 gallon bucket. If you've got an airstones to throw in there, the bubbles help to oxygenate and activate the microbes.

Lol I know, it tickles me ! Thanks a lot for bringing up teas by the way...was going to be lazy but you inspired me to look and found some pretty good info. Don't know if I will use them for this grow yet, but if not, absolutely will for the next! I know it's not expensive to set up a composting system, but I'm in an apartment so trying to think of where I could keep an open bucket of brewing bat shit around! Every set up I saw left the lid off, so it seems like it has to be mostly uncovered in order to benefit from the oxygenation?
