Having Issues! Germ'd seeds to rockwool to soil!

I am using the paper towel method with a seedling heat mat and then after my seeds are cracking and I've got a good root, I am putting them in my rockwool cubes. The seeds with good tap roots look good when they go into the rockwool or I don't even put them in, I just toss them. The problem is, I get one or two seedlings from the 6 good seeds.​Here is a pic of what I am talking about. Any suggestions so I stop wasting all these expensive seeds would be great!

As you can see, one popped up a couple days ago and just took off. The other 5, nothing. They had tap roots that looked just as good. Same water. Same rockwool cubes from the same batch. Same environment altogether and i always get 1 of 6 or 2 of 6 seeds to pop out of them cubes.

Bro... Ur doin it all wrong. Ur making it to difficult. Just do what i do when i pop seeds. Nearly had 100 percent everytime unless there bag seeds.
But just get a party cup and plant seed into tbat. The paper towel meathod isnt too goo cause alot of times the taproot has lil hairs on it that get intangled into the paper towel and when u pull the seed up it dameges the tap root. Just plant i a soil cup water gentle and u should be golden.

So I need to get me a "red solo cup", put potting soil in it and just put my seed in point up and a little water? I did that in the Jiffy pellets before with NO success so I switched to this method. Imma try that but I would much rather plant a germinated seed even if I just soak it in a glass of water. Whatcha think?

if your going with rockwoll, ive always soaked my cubes for a few hours with the water phed at 5.5 5.6, and with the paper towel method you have to get the seed out pretty much when you start to see the tap root come out as chigga said the roots have hairs that will get entangled in it and rip partially, and kill or stunt it, if your doin the sol cup wich i also do i use fox farm light warrior for starting seeds, make a few holes at bottom fill with te soil and just plant the seed, best way to go like he said, basically skip the paper towle method if you keep have 1-6 2-6 pop eveyrtime. like you said no point in wasting seed.

and with the soaking usaully its for older seed due to the lack of moisture in them, the longer they take to sink is a good indicator of how old the seed is, but i have sucess with seeds that take usaully 24 hpurs to sink then plan it in the fflw and they sprouted with in 36 hours and so far out of the seeds i have started i only lost aboout 1or 2 out of about id say a good 25 30 seeds and i think both times were with the paper towel method with leaving the tap root get to long in the paper towel.

Man I soaked it in water, tap root came out good. Put it straight in the party cup with soil and it shot right on out! Good advice. Thanks man.
