Is it good to grow more or less plants...

ive been learning over the past couple of years and up till just last winter i had no idea how to clone...now making the plants isnt the problem...having limited amount of room and just how many is tomany for it..when a plant doesnt produce the suggested yield or even close, what would you think the problem is? buds look healthy and no bugs evident. may have a slight deficency and im also into week 8 these are BBK. the box is 2wx3hx3L..i was running a 300w super hps untill it went down still waiting on the replacement.so im reduced to my back up a 150w hps for now. the other was deffinitely better. these are also on there second bud. im still working out kinks in my box design ...kinda have limited space. Oh there is a Himalayan gold its in the far left pic bttm lft corner

many smaller plants is more effective due to shorter veg times thus increasing overall efficiency in regards to both time and electric cost

what are your temps running at normally? High temps can be a problem when it comes to budding.

temps dont get over 87f at max first part of there lives they were exposed to so higher temps ranging from 85f -112f ive since corrected the issue. this may have some thing to do with there current condition as well.

I prefer going big outdoors. Growing inside requires a lot of energy and room size is big limiting factor. To make up for these, you grow smaller fast flowering strains and harvest every three months, but it still won't beat what you can do outside and it'll cost you three times as much to do it indoors.

When growing out doors the quality is lower. Not saying its not good but its not what ive seen at the collectives.. i agree with more little clones...like 26 in a 4 x4 room

Yeah but you will spend 3 months getting them big and then another 8-12 weeks flower. Not to mention like said above more money on light nutes etc... in the time it takes you to veg your big plants some have bloomed harvested and started to cure. It just comes down to how many do you want to/can grow safely and effectively along with how often do you want to re stock your stash

Ido agree that growing outside is definitily the best..i had a 9ft 8in tall by 8ft 5in wide. sativa of course..ill post pics when i find them. the reason i started doing it inside was caucse the weather was getting very uncooperative. and thievies!

I am currently growing 4 under a 600. Last round I had 8 and got about 2 zips per plant. Hoping for a better yield this round. And kept the same 7 week veg time. Just switched to 12/12.

i run 12-12 from seed........i find it can sometimes depend on the strain but in general i find less is more. this was a bubblegum 12-12 from seed....

It's not the number of plants but how well the space is utilized, and assuming it is well illuminated. Basically for limited space, it's a matter of going from vertical growing to horizontal growing. You can get there by growing many small plants in scrog, or a few large ones with lst.
