HELP need! broke my plant

ok so i am LST a plant under a 250 watts hps bulb. I have been lst'ng the damn plant for 6 weeks now. i went to tie the tip down and the dtem broke at the second to last node. my question is can i still keep the plant or should i just trash her? i am going to put the plant in flower at the end of this week but is it worth it? she has plent of other nodes and was doing wonderful with the nutrients. all in all she is a beautiful plant but is it really worth the effort now? here are a few pics to give you a idea.

Don't throw it away whatever you do. it will stress it a bit but it will easily recover. if you were in flower it would be an issue but in veg it's not a problem. plants are strong and able to adapt like all living things. its just like topping but by accident.

Cool. Thanks for the reply. I think I'm gonna give it another week to recover before I throw it into flower. I'm a little upset. That was the nicer of the 2 plants. Oh well. If it doesn't work out I can always plant another one thanks again. And have a great day

Just my advice I'd give it maybe a little more than a week to recover but some strains come back faster than others I wouldn't switch the lights on her now until you actually see here lower growth recovering and responding to the topping then your good to go

A good tip though, that I know for 100% works, as I did it on a plant recently. A side branch broke off about 6 inches from tip. I taped it back on, very carefully, with aluminum tape, and it was like it never happened! I should have took pictures. This was at the beginning of flowering as well, and that branch still recovered.
