My base mix is simply the amount I use because it fits on my concrete pad, with room to stir.
The base mix is 2 bags (1.5 cu .ft. ea.) of Manna Mix. which is a coco based mixed from Vital Earth, and 1 bale (3.8 cu.ft. ea.) of Pro-Mix
Then I add half a bale of compost.
10-15 lbs Chicken Manure compost
25 lbs. Worm castings
10 gallons of Alaskan Humus

2 cups Kelp meal
4 cups Dr. Earths Organic 8 4-10-7
3 cups Fish Bone meal 3-13-0
2 cups Bat Guano 0-12-0
2 cups Azomite
4 cups Green Sand 0-0-3

I think that's it, if I remember anything else, I'll add it in later, but I think that's it.

Looking good Wheezer.This is gonna be fun. I have about 150 gallons of base soil mixed up and have been waiting on adding the ferts.... I have most of these same products and I'm glad to see your doses, especially the greensand. Wasn't sure about the quantity and it's my first time using it. Wish I could do a backyard grow. I'll be hauling water buckets down in the briar patch all summer long. You remember the good ole days I bet! Hope you have a smooth ride Bro. GreenJeans

Yea....I might have a bunch of stuff needing a good home soon. They passed that fucked ass ordinance here, and I'm not allowed to grow outside at all, starting immediately! Anyone in a res. zoned area, less than 2 acres are only allowed 100 sq. ft. indoor, no outdoor. They are filing suit against the county today, and hopefully it gets held up, if not I'll let ya know and we can meet up and I'll give ya some plants for sure.

damn wheezer, i feel your pain on the ordinance... here in butte county we have been dealing with a really screwed up ordinance. we did a referendum and beat the first passing of the ordinance but now they sent it to a vote, so June 5th I will be voting against measure A here n butte county, i really hope everyone else who signed the petition goes and votes against it... if it passes i will not be doing 18 plants this year...

also with that being said i will not be doing any thread this year either... i just want to play it safe... I hope to keep seeing all your posts though as they are very entertaining! good luck bro!

I just joined rollitup today and i'm really impressed with your set up.
I'm about to start my first grow and i'm so excited. I've studied how to grow mj outdoors until my eyes fell out (Location, pests n bugs n feeding etc etc) but thats all theory and now comes the practice. With luck and perseverance i'd be thrilled to one day have a great plant set up and the experience that you seem to have.

yea, I'm in the same boat here, we have a lawyer filing suit against the county this week, and we should get ours stopped for the season. We can't do a referendom on ours, cause it was voted in as an emergency order to appease the pricks that are bitching. There's a new thing they are filing soon too, called AB12 or somethin', that's supposed to get state wide regulations again, and keep it that way. Our sherriff says they'll only go after extreme cases that recieve calls, but who knows.
I'm prolly gonna let this thread die too, but I'll keep the indoor oneI have going just for finished bud shots or somethin'.....IDK......they're taking all the fun out of this again damn it!!

IDK who your talkin' too......I don't have any land, I rent my house on half an acre. The big 40 was someone elses property, someone elses plants, and someone elses expense. I just grew it, took my little share and my experience, and left.

The 1 huge plus you have is you do know how to grow better than most so it will be shitty but I bet this isn't the first set back you over came,and it's not over yet, enough Dr. Phill. Damn wheezer that's fucked up. I can see it going that way in my area with surrounding cities adopting the same ordinances. :(
 
Damn sorry to hear about the ordinance man, I was really looking forward to following your grow this year, but totally understand if you can't continue. Anyways best of luck to you Wheezer hopefully things work out in your favor and you can get back to doing what you do best, growing them monsters. That no growing outdoors is some real tyrannical shit.
 
Bro Wheezer I'm from back east (Dixie actually). I've been so turned off by a lot of the Cali growers, guys with a lot of talent, but a whole lot of arrogance too. You have been a breath of fresh air... one helpful, informative dude, with mega talent! Thank you so much. I hope it turns around and you don't have to shut this one down.
