hey i thought i would throw this out there which system do you guys think is better the titan or the ebb and flow try and be unbiest as possible provide pro's and con's of the systems:hump:

The titan in my book is the best ebb&grow system on the market! Sentinal has a bad ass one but i have never seen one in action.

All three brands work the same! Titan has a larger flood buckets, and 3/4 in flood lines. All titan electronics are made by solid state
out of germany, and its blue! Blue dont resanate heat like black. Those are pros!.

Cap systems run with a 2 gal bucket and 1/2 in flood lines, and everything is black :( and all there parts are made in china and
asembled in the US and called made in usa lol. There control boxes are known to go out and flood your grow!

All in all they all kick ass but titan is alot more worrie free!

As always, Sentinel wins.



Fill/drain holes are at the bottom of the buckets, not on the side like the CAP and Titan models. Plus it's got a digital brain vs. the analog timers of the others.

I own two Sentinel MDT-1s and a DRT-1. They absolutely make the best equipment hands down!

ive seen these for sale at plantlighting are they cheap at that place since you have one have you ever had problems with the pumps kicking out or the controler

iI know the weak link for the CAP (and I'm sure the Titan too since it's essentially the same design) is the controller bucket.

i had a c.a.p one going for all of about 2 weeks before it flooded my room repeatedly. they did replace the bucket and gave me some extras but what a pain in the ass. the system in all is just very poorly designed adn manufactured. i ordered a sentinel system. shoul dhave it in soon. hopping to get rid of the kinks with it.

i get everything from greners.com they will negotiate price and match anyone else's price. plus they have everything. even if it's not on the website they can get it. i just put in a huge order over there and they went out of their way to get me a bunch of things they don't normally carry like some stuff for brewing teas, tomato cages, reinforced tent supports, etc...

ask for troy. their all cool though but he's who i deal with. pm me and i'll try and get you a discount.

nothing to post because these system is just hyped up its got a bunch of stuff that are useless
looked on the net no info as far as people saying if they are good or bad

the CAP controller units break a lot.
IF you decide to go with the CAP ebb and grow, you need to buy an extra control unit for *when* yours goes out.

i think there is a lot of hype behind it cause sentinel has a really good reputation. their controllers are some of the best in the business and i think people expect the same out of this unit. i'll post some pics when i get mine.

what happened to that grow journal that was running the Titan system? i haven't seen it around and i was looking for it. remeber the guy who i think an 18 site Titan setup and was using ice box heat exchangers? he had one buried into a 5 gallon bucket that he drilled holes into to make an air diffuser. i'd like to see what that guy is up to for sure.
