Hey smokers. I have a critical+ auto and a lowryder#2 auto. I have them outside they get plenty of sunlight. I have them in 2 gallon pots with fox farm ocean forest soil. I get alright size buds but I seen like huge buds from other peoples plants. I wanna know what I am doing wrong? what does it take to get bigger thicker buds?

i know that if you go with a bigger pot,say 5gal and beyond, the overall plant will be greater, because of more room for root growth to spread out.The amount of light they are getting plays another part in the size of those buds,u have them outside so that shouldnt be the case, also pruning technique is another factor, cutting away sugar leaves or the small leaves around the buds, you could do a technique called Lollipopping that will give you bigger buds as the plants growth energy or nutrients are going straight into the bud. There are several threads around here about how to lollipop.Just get bigger containers and you will see bigger plants and in turn greater potential for growth.

agreed. Lollipopping is key.
Don't feel bad about cutting out that lower growth. It feels wrong at first, but, IME, harvest weight is barely affected at all. Just less fluffy lower buds, more colas.

also, you can tie branches off to a side that they are not blocking other budsites. but lollipoping makes the real difference.
