Aussie Growers Thread

Nice shaping bro! They've been timed well!
It's an old trick for SOME strains, but if your feeling adventurous you could try drying them out a bit and shortening the light cycle to around 10hrs to get a little more resin production.

Well... sort of. You can make / sterilise your own cakes, Inoculate them with you own (or some purchased) spores.

The Method is known as "PFTEK" as coined by a mycologist who calls himself "psilocybe fanaticus". see here ---> http://www.fungifun.org/English/Pftek
If you purchase spores, get them as a print and not a syringe, after all it WILL be scanned through customs.

Hey Miyags, did you ever put gipsum (calcium) and coffee water into your cubensis cakes? if not you should try it, I had shrooms that no shit look like the hulk. 52g one shroom (wet)... so i think it was around 5g dry... and for the record, I rekon it was stronger too.

""
It's long been known that adding 1 tablespoon(not ten percent) of gypsum to the basic brf recipe for 5 jars will improve performance. The cakes can also be hydrated with weak coffee rather than plain water, but no more than 1/2 drinking strength." <--- Psilocybe Fanaticus Forum Post

edit: 2x flushes of hulk shrooms, then a flush of tiny caps from a martini glass cake.
Lucky for me at the moment my mate in WA (not tezz) has been posting me pre-colonised cakes so I haven't had to make one in a while, just birth to the fc and whammo! Haven't had to make a cake in a while but yeah I have that recipe. I dunk in old fish tank water, dissolved nitrogenous waste is a massive boost for well colonised cakes and they won't contam at that point. Hit me up in pm if you need spores though, I have plenty of prints and a few special ones on agar and that travels through the post easy as, it's just a chunk of jelly!

Hey Kents, Just a quick drop in before I'm off to play footy...

Week 4 Flower... Not as crystaly as your stuff...
But, I'm hoping..!!! Things are progressing OK, considering...
Take it easy...
What strain is it? If temps arent an issue you might have too much nitrogen (leaves are a bit dark and canoed downwards)... but this could be temps and genetically that dark.
Was the new growth pale and a bit curly during stretch?

Sweet as mate!, appreciate the offer!

Been there, done that, makes it pretty recognisable! Just snapped a couple of pics of the cakes and printed a couple of caps. Can't find the mrs' camera cable though and my cam still isn't working. Will have to get onto it later, got to do a little yardwork, I'm off for now
