No, my plants have rediculously tight internodes due to my growing method. Sometimes I wish they would stretch a tad more and shade them so they will. The plants basically store energy all day during photosynthesis and use it at night for growth.

If your co2 is getting into the root zone or if your roots are not getting enough o2 that could be the cause??

so... whatever was happening is no longer happening. I don't know if it's because of the flush, or because I moved it to a place with better airflow at night. It still drooped a bit last night, but nothing as severe as the past few nights.

my suspicion is that humidity got too high and CO2 got too low at night... but I'll probably never know.

That was also my latest suspicion, I think the safe kept things too wet and ran the plant out of oxygen. (plants take in oxygen during the dark period). Obviously this particular pheno was more sensitive because you mentioned the other plants didn't display the same drooping.
