150 watt hps Sun Sytem Grow Tent, Flowering Already

Okay My setup includes:

Sun Systems 150w HPS (80 off ebay shipped)
2 120mm Antec 3 speed fans for Intake and exhaust (10 of ebay shipped)
Walmart pop up closet (paid 15-20??)

This is a pretty good steup, the 2 fans keep it cool.

The strains im growing consist of 2 bagseed, GHS Trainwreck, and GHS great white Shark
They have been on 12/12 since 4/18

Nutes that ive been using are MG BB and Superthrive.

Im also doing a outdoor grow, this grow is to get me by during the summer...Im already out of meds from my last outddor grow.

Nice I was using the same one but I had to switch it out due to heat issues in a secert jardin dr60 gotta get better circulation exhuast intake. Then ill re add with my led. But it worked good for the forst 2 weeks.

No heat problem here, The closet is made of fabric material on all around....so air can pass through it easily

I bet that would stay nice and cool...I am having some heat issues with my 400w right now...wish I could use an all fabric tent...it wouldn't keep out the light though, and I use the room where the tents are for other things

Add some mylar linning to the inside fir better reflective properties. Good deal though...

had to get rid of bagseed #1, it hermied and had a few pollen sacks that already opened.....and alot of new ones coming in.

hung it up...gonna let it dry out and smoke it anyway...lol

The reason I ask is that they are known energy hogs(this model) wondered if they remedied the (capacitor)flaw in the newer model's..........wouldn't happen to have a kill-watt meter by chance???? good luck and happy growing:)

yo, im checking your journal out looks good my first grow with the 150w sun system i did one plant topped multiple times in a 5gal pot yielded 4oz. now im doing a second grow with three plants in 1gal pots.

I checked my meter earlier, it was running @ 0.471kwh and when i shut my 150hps off it went down to 0.301kwh.

So Im using about 0.170 kwh with my setup....which im guessing = to 170watts
