I'd be careful of those soil ph testers where you stick a rod into the soil. Many people have had issues where they don't read ph well at all.local nursery prob will have one that can test moisture, ph and light for like 10 dollars.

I'd go with litmus paper and test the runoff at the bottom, and/or an aqarium ph test kit to ph the water you give them.

Wow you are right my plants are small compared to yours!At 4 weeks of having sprouted your plants really should be alot bigger -- take a quick look at my grow journal (link is in my signature) and look at the size of mine at 2 weeks... Your plants should be very nicely filled out if they're 4 weeks old.
