im using the same wats but in t12s dude t5s can be like 2-3 inches from the tops of ur plants. and t12s can touch our plant if you want.

Hay crazy, I'm using T5's. Question in your opinion how close to plant should 4 2ft t5's be? 40 watts each so 160watts total? Anyone?

can keep lights as close as an inch with good airflow im pretty sure, a little bit farther away may help them stretch more in veg though. id say 2-5", any further and you may be losing some lumens.

• guys i fucked up! i smoked to much around 9 and i passed outand i forgot i put the nw light in my room not on a timer cause it didnt fit. i woke up at 1 and saw the light on in my box when it was suppose to go out at 10! its 1 24 am now and i turned all lights off. so my plant got 3 extra hours of light.. will this harm it. im in the 9th day of flowering no signs of sex yet but internode growth. did i hermie my plant?? im scared​

hmm, i dont think it could hermie but seeds with hermies in their lineage are more likely to hermie, but a few hours probably wont hurt. not too much stress.

ok so today under the leaves coming in on the nodes i spotted at the very top on each side theres a little (> looking thing with the point sticking up. it looks like the tips can come apart. i dont know if these are seed pods or preflowers for a female help??

wont the white hair shoot out the end of that little (> if its a female? i heard the female preflowers look like tear drops and the males look like playing cards like they are more squarish. this looks more like a tear drop but idk thats just what i read. i also read male preflowers will grow out with a stem and females wont. and do males stink? my plants really starting to smell

whats up dj sorry i was intoxicated last nite i had fun lol neways the plant wont hermie on u just for three hours i mistakanly turned it off for like 7-9 hours b4 like 1 or 2 times one grow n it didnt do sht not one sed so ur straight on that 3 hours wont hurt at all!! and as far a the femalei cant tell with the picks but the pistal comes out the littles balls by the stem just give it time cuz i had this plant that i thought was a male because i had 3 of the same strain and 2 had showed preflowers and the last one didnt and it had the ball on the stem i gave it like 3 more days and come to find out it was a girl so yeah just give it a coulpe more days to c if it has pistals on it!!!

haha i try, make sure you dont get those light timer from china, they break after a year or two. youll figure its a female or male, males are easier to spot and usually blossom quicker. you can sort them out before the male does any "damage", i left a male near my purp plant so far ive gotten 6 seeds by cutting off 2 flowers so if you wanna do a cross, keep the best male. females will have what looks like a tiny mountain with two little white hairs sticking out, they should look sort of a translucent white color, most people use the term milky.

DJ like u i'm still learning about this whole thing but, to me it looks like more vegitative growth. u said u r flowering right now and along with that comes lots more growth!! Good luck bro!

haha yah your not slower i might just post to fast. and yah i looked before lights when off and it looks like it might be getting pointer. idk tho only time will tell im just gonna wait for for sure white hairs or bannanas

right now they are soil. probly gonna leave them soil or put 2 hydro and 1 soil. only thing is. i have to use big rez's so the hydros take up more room. i can run 2 systems with one pump with 2 2 litter bottle rezes the bubbleponics grow so fast. i wanna see how the difference in the look. haha just to see if they really are related. where did you get your headbands?
