Tell me about your favorite vacation spot. It can even be the place that you currently reside. I have been to many places around the world, I was even born in Japan(Not Japanese though). I'm curious to see where everyone has been and what their favorite spot is.
I spent a good amount of my life in Santa Barbara, California and that was one of the most beautiful places I have ever lived. I can't tell you how much I miss it. Well, before that I used to live in San Francisco and that was real pretty too.
I have also been to the Caribbean. St Thomas to be precise. And that island really reminded me of Santa Barbara. The city life was almost identical except the natives were black rather than hispanic. And I gotta say, the drinking age being 18 was pretty awesome. The alcohol was also half price because it was duty free(meaning tax-free) so I spent a good amount of time at the bar drinking with my brother. The weed was pretty awesome too. I couldn't compare it to SB because I hadn't smoked when I was in california but man.. it was awesome.
I've also been to guam, but that was icky. I wouldn't recommend it and I don't think I'll ever go back. Currently, I live in Illinois, and before that I was in Jersey for a couple years. I'm also taking a road trip to missouri soon. I'm going to see where my dad grew up and sign some important papers. And we're also renting an RV to go on another road trip through 10-12 states in about a month. Anyway, my favorite spots are definitely islands. Never been to hawaii though. That's probably my goal for the summer.
