I saw that video, and wasn't all the impressed. The plant was "revegged" but just grew back a few small "popcorn" buds.
The quick answer is that while it might be possible to "re-veg" some autos under certain conditions, its probably not worth the bother. You'll probably be much happier starting from seed again.
In terms of the Iranian autoflower (and a few other strains like it, including Guerrilla Gold), these are effectively conventional photoperiod plants that will flower under relatively long light periods like 15-16 hours. They're not true "autoflowers" in the sense that they will flower under ANY light schedule. The biggest advantage of these is that they'll pretty much flower at any time when put outside in North America, potentially leading to very early harvests. These plants can be cloned and re-vegged, if you so choose.
