If you guys are claiming they are the same because of a similarity (at best) on SOME social issues than I now fully understand (as if I didnt already) why uninformed voters gets sucked into voting on the few popular talking points and not a candidate as a whole. Okay so what are the major differences disregarding their rhetoric? These are not all social issues... Bailouts, healthcare, foreign policy, TARP, the Fed etc...

It doesn't really matter who holds the Presidency... Congress is where the power is at. Why don't we start putting some better congressmen in office rather than say how lame Obama/Romney is.

For the record Romney "opposed" the way the bailouts were conducted. Saying their foreign policy is similar is a gross misinterpretation of the candidates. Romney said he wouldn't oppose bombing Iran. I could keep going on. Its some conspiracy according to you guys when in reality there are differences even on those subjects and how they the candidates thought the situations should be dealt with. Stop oversimplifying the situation just to once again yell out to everyone your disgruntled with the system.
We get it.
Don't complain when you guys continue to not gain any real traction on the government level and just continue to cry conspiracy instead of standing up and taking control of the machine, utilizing the options the Founding Fathers gave us to retake the system. We as a voter base are asking for the results of 100% work when we only do at most 50% of that work. You can change out your spark plugs in your cars every 4 months but if you don't actually take care of the rest of the engine the spark plugs can only do so much and are pretty much destine to fail from the start. We have let so many engine components just fail yet still expect the tune up every so often to make your car brand new again.
and EVEN if they did agree on some things wouldn't that just be a glimmering hope of bi partisanship... (Isn't that what we need at a time like this) nope not any more I guess the word bi partisanship gets just as many people pissed off as the word liberal. Maybe that's whats going wrong with the country.

This is, of course, President Obamas greatest failing, from a foreign policy standpoint, which is he recognized the gravest threat that America and the world faced as and faced was a nuclear Iran and he did not do what was necessary to get Iran to be dissuaded from their nuclear folly. What he should have done is speak out when dissidents took to the streets and say America is with you and work on a covert basis to encourage the dissidents. Number two, he should have put put in place crippling sanctions against Iran. But instead of getting Russia, for instance, to when when he gave in our our missile defense system, to agree to to stand with those crippling sanctions, he gave Russia what they wanted, their number one foreign policy objective, and got nothing in return...

Finally, the president should have built a credible threat of military action and made it very clear that the United States of America is willing, in the final analysis, if necessary, to take military action to keep Iran from having a nuclear weapon. Look, one thing you can know and that is if we reelect Barack Obama, Iran will have a nuclear weapon. And if we elect Mitt Romney, if you elect me as the next president, they will not have a nuclear weapon...
... Well, its worth putting in place crippling sanctions. Its worth working with the insurgents in the country to encourage regime change in the country. And if all else fails, if after all of the work weve done, theres nothing else we could do besides mil take military action, then of course you take military action. It is unacceptable for Iran to have a nuclear weapon. We will not allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon. This term unacceptable has been applied by several presidents over history. President Obama is a strong supporter of worker's rights. He believes they should be given the right to bargain collectively and strike if the need arises. He would see to it that striking workers are not completely expelled from work.
Obama believes in the Employees Free Choice Act which is a bipartisan effort to enable workers to organize. The essence of the Act is to give the employees a choice whether to join a union or not and not simply be pressured into joining.
He opposed Bush's National labor Relations Board's 'Kentucky River' decisions to classify workers such as nurses, construction workers as supervisors. They were not to receive protection under Federal labor laws under this decision therefore Obama cosponsored legislation against this.
Obama intended to raise the minimum wages index it to inflationary levels and thereby raise the Earned Income Tax Credit.
Obama supports the United Auto Workers and AFL-CIO and the right of workers to bargain collectively and strike if necessary. While running for election he said that he would work to ban the permanent replacement of striking workers.

He believes a cut in Corporate Taxes will have a significant impact over time. It can stimulate the economy, create jobs and encourage foreign investment.
He said that the American worker could be richer by $9000 a year by opening up the market to American goods and services. The workers can sell the products they manufacture around the world thus raking in more income.
He is of the opinion that it is the businessmen and not politicians who should negotiate trade with foreigners so that patents, designs and technology etc are adequately protected.
He encouraged Trade and commerce with Asian countries saying that it will only strengthen the Us economy and lead to further growth.

President Obama is a strong supporter of worker's rights. He believes they should be given the right to bargain collectively and strike if the need arises. He would see to it that striking workers are not completely expelled from work.
Obama believes in the Employees Free Choice Act which is a bipartisan effort to enable workers to organize. The essence of the Act is to give the employees a choice whether to join a union or not and not simply be pressured into joining.
He opposed Bush's National labor Relations Board's 'Kentucky River' decisions to classify workers such as nurses, construction workers as supervisors. They were not to receive protection under Federal labor laws under this decision therefore Obama cosponsored legislation against this.
Obama intended to raise the minimum wages index it to inflationary levels and thereby raise the Earned Income Tax Credit.
Obama supports the United Auto Workers and AFL-CIO and the right of workers to bargain collectively and strike if necessary. While running for election he said that he would work to ban the permanent replacement of striking workers.
Obama believes that America's future lies in developing new clean energy jobs which can be achieved by mandatory limits on carbon pollution which will create a stable business environment welcoming investments from entrepreneurs in a new energy economy.
Obama plans to invest in innovation and development by giving increased access to capital and by cutting health care costs and also by introducing a new Small Business Health Tax Credit.
He supports the setting up of a national infrastructure bank to use public and private capital to fund projects. He builds in creating jobs by rebuilding business infrastructure.

There really isn't any difference and I think your examples show that plain as day, its the same old shit, your examples are just talking points and nothing more but minor discrepencies at best. The usual republican/democrat positions which are essentially the same thing. It has nothing to do with similiarities on misclaneous issues as you pointed out correctly, but then you go on to argue as if there would be a difference and thats completely incorrect.
I will add one thing they both fail to recognize is that health insurance is not healthcare, all this talk is worthless and in the end only serves to railroad the people. This debate about Class warfare and capitlism vs anti-capitilism only divides us when the results are the same, it is time people think outside the box.
The results from Obama vs Romney Win is that everything stays exactly the same, big pharma continues to win, the dollar continues to be devalued, our civil liberties continue to die, the wars continue, the drug war continues, prison industrial complex continues, people continue to get poorer...Nothing Changes...
