I would not recommend herbies in any way... I have ordered seeds for many years, have ordered from many companies including herbies and to be honest my worst experience has been from herbies.
I recently did an order with them about 2 months ago, was wanting to try a new auto strain "Think Different" from DP, Herbies had it so I thought I would give it a try... got the seeds and a couple freebies, there were 7 of the Think Different. I started germinating 5 of the seven at the same time using same method I always germinate seeds in and may I state have honestly had 95%+ germination rate. I soak seeds in a cup of water for 18-36 hours, basically till the seed sinks and cracks open.... well in 36 hours not 1 had cracked, all 5 sank though in about 20 hours, I then take the seeds and place them in damp paper towels and place in a tin I have and close it up, normally within 36 hours I have 1/4" tails and ready to be placed. after 36 hour mark I put them in the towels and in the tin... 2 days later not 1 sprouted. I took the other 2 seeds and started germinating them same way... I ended up with 1 seeds that germinated.
With my experience with seed banks, I decided to contact herbies and let them know about the 6 failures, though 2 previous orders of seeds form them and actually had decent sucess rate with their seeds, I let them know about the previous success and stated my order #'s from the other orders and then briefly explained. I received an Email from Herbie stated he was sorry to hear about the failure and he would make it up on my next order, to just mention the order #.... so I placed an order a few weeks later for some Himalayan Gold seeds.... well my "make up seeds" were some random junk freebie auto's... nothing in the way of what I ordered, or even had ordered previously. I sent an email to herbies and 2 days later got a reply that basically said, "We don't have offer any replacements we do that just to try and make things better, and basically said if i wasnt clear on their guarantee or lack there of, that I shouldn't order from them in the future"
