Indica dominant sativa:leaf:...Just out of curiosity what sold you on MG? I have used it successfully myself so I am not going to be an ass and troll your post or anything. I switched to FF Happy Frog and I will never go back. The plant is having typical MG issues though...shiny leaves and a Mg deficiency. If it were my grow I would get some calmag or magical or even some epsom salts if the nutes are not readily available to you at a garden center. MG soils are IMHO very easy to use once you get the hang of them and also a great learning soil for newbies. The trick with MG products is all in the watering schedule and amounts. How long has she been in the nesquick container? Looks like she may be getting a bit root bound as well (drooping). Remeber if you transplant again you add more nutes.:peace:

Thanks for reading my grow.
I'm using mg because of what I read about the watering.
I just transplanted yesterday.
It looked like rootbound before I transplanted. I should also add that I brought it in from outside. It had been outside for around a week.

i'm using miracle grow as well, and i'm curious as to what the ideal watering schedule is? i'm watering every 2-3 days, depending on the weight of the container. i water until it starts to run out of the bottom. hopefully i've been doing it right?

Yes that's exactly what I do. I water every three days untill water comes from the bottom. My plants have been doing great from this.

Our grows are pretty much the same haha I was thinking the same thing. I used the nesquick containier cause it was all I really had to spare. I hace two cfls and yes they are both yellow. I don't understand why some people make growing so complicated. My plants are growing fast and great with just the cfls and window light. I'm subd for your journal so ill be giving all the info I can and hopefully you can return the favor.

I don't understand what this is. Looks like nodes growing from the stem and the branch. I don't know if you can see in the picture but there are also small thin hairs. Could these be the first signs of sex.

That's a marijuana plants flower sir. It should happen all over the main stem where your fan leaves originally branched out.. calyxes and hairs should follow, along w/ budsights

What cycle do you have the plant on?

the 'whiter' (bluer/cooler/higher spectrum, 6500k) bulbs are ideal for veg and reducing stretch; the 'yellower' (redder/warmer/lower spectrum, 2700k) bulbs are ideal for flower. using those bulbs for veg/flower better simulates the spectrum of the sun in spring (bluer spectrum, vegetative growth) and fall (flower). however, it is good to use one or two (or more, depending on your setup) bulbs of the alternate spectrum during the growth periods.

having said that, use what ya got. i don't see any harm in using one or the other for an entire grow, you could potentially get slightly better results if you switched spectrums and all that crap...but whatever, it's obviously growing..haha. and since you're also using the sun, i really don't think you should worry about it.

and it's hard to tell in the pic you posted of what you're talking about. use a camera with macro mode and get a light close

I think it definently a girl. I can see little hairs sprouting where the stems meet the branch. I will post pics when they get more prominent.

Nevermind. I went outside to look at the other plants and they looked pretty much the same. I guess I have to wait a little bit longer till I can tell sex
