i use OF, and a 25 gallon pot you can most def get a pound. what kind of climate do you live in?HuMbolt thanks for that info man what kind of soil do u use outdoor would ocean forest be good? Also is 25 gallonpots good for a p a plant with a sativa? Thanks humbolt
The bigger the roots, the bigger the fruits. No roots = No Fruits. Establishing bigger roots, will feed and grow a bigger plant, that will lead to bigger harvests.
25 gallon is a good size, but you can always go bigger. If you grew the same strain, one in a 25 gallon, and another in a 100 gallon, if everything was kept the same, and in the same location, by theory your 100 gallon will surpass your 25 gallon.
I've used fox farms in the past, but have moved on. You should get some good results with it, but lately ocean forest has had issues with bugs. I don't know much other about its status than that.
huh.. never had a issue with there soil and i live right near were its made. I just got 20 yards delivered a couple weeks ago..Mostly gnats to my understanding. Again, I don't use it any more. If you do some googling, you can dig it up. Fox Farms admitted to it, and said its in the process of correcting it. I would advice ya do some research of your own on fox farms and come to your own conclusions though
It happens to a lot of soil companies. Even roots has had its riff of bug's. Also, I should note that from what I found out, its only certain areas that actual reported infestations. With gnats they tend to be obvious. I would also recommend doing soil drenches with predatory nematodes to rid of any possible chances. All the Best~
There ya go. Sounds right. The issue stems from where the product gets stored at once its sold. If your buying it direct u should be golden. Must know somebody cause its illegal for them to sell to the public directly, and on their website they make sure to state that they only sell to wholesale distributors. But hey if your getting it like that, more power to yahuh.. never had a issue with there soil and i live right near were its made. I just got 20 yards delivered a couple weeks ago..
yea you dont what the fuck your talking about, #1 i never said i got anything from the factory i said i live near were its made. #2 you said most exp. growers dont use it up here. hahaha you dont know what your talking about, i live off 36 and we got trucks out here all the time palates galore. exp. growers dont use it. "Bullshit" I am experiencedThere ya go. Sounds right. The issue stems from where the product gets stored at once its sold. If your buying it direct u should be golden. If you google "bugs in ocean forest soil" you'll have some reading material of others complaints. It not like fox farms is going to broadcast it on their website. Thats bad logical business. I guess its to each their own. Many use it, and many no longer use it!
And if you live in Humboldt, like myself, most exp. growers no longer fuck with anything fox farms. Not saying they don't make good products, but their is way better, for much less $. IE, Sub's super soil would be cheaper than 20 yards of ocean forest from the factory. Especially if you live in Humboldt!
That's really interesting. Thanks for sharing that. How did you prepare the soil before you transplanted? In a 100 gallon smart pot, this strain yields me a lb outdoors, If I am lucky.
Hey believe and think for yourself man. Just so you know, one of the top premier legit medical cannabis breeder in this wild wild west has long been proven the very piss poor job of soil making that the folks at fox farms does. They recently just settled an out of court settlement with Aurora Innovations...aka Roots Organics. If you'd like some science into some shady practices of fox farm , google subcool fox farms......yea you dont what the fuck your talking about, #1 i never said i got anything from the factory i said i live near were its made. #2 you said most exp. growers dont use it up here. hahaha you dont know what your talking about, i live off 36 and we got trucks out here all the time palates galore. exp. growers dont use it.
