Hey everyone, got a question. are 3 gallon pots enough to grow all the way till the end or are they to small for adult plants....:?:

Most of my growing is in 2.5-3 gal. It works for the space I have and gives me nice plants. I haven't done a 5 gal. for years, maybe I'll try one or two to compare.

It depends on your medium and growing style. I go soiless (Promix with hydro nutes), so 3 gal. is fine for plants vegged for 4-5 weeks before flowering.

I have 2 plants in 2.5 gal pots. How tall do you let the plants get before 12/12?
I dont want them to get root bound and dont really want to repot

rule of thumb is 1 gal for every 1 month, so if you plan on 4 weeks veg 8 weeks flower then 3 gal pots are fine, if you plan on 8 weeks veg 8 weeks flower then i would recomend 5 gal pot.

6 weeks veg + 8 weeks flower = 14 weeks = 3,5 months / 1gal per month = 3,5 gal pots should do! lol Going Einstein in here! lol yeap.. 3gal pots are fine! just messing about! Keep up the good work!
