so i got one room almost done. i need to add the roof and carpet the outside. the roof will sit about 4 inches below the top, leaving a little basket area. i got an electric staple/nail gun for 50 dollars at home depot. it made things so much easier. i'm going the have a little deck at the top and i will add a second room below with a door out to the left. from there it goes ............... :blsmoke:

I love the hole in the cathouse that just leads down and out. It's like a secret get away. someone chases the cat into the cat house, and thinks they have it cornered, and then it slips out the bottom...very slick

are you going to put anything in the cathouse? cat furniture...maybe a catnip bar....

I know many of my the people my hubby works with are often saying that they want to die and come back as one of our pets.

it's 11 am and 80+ degrees out. i'm gonna stop until this evening. i got the roof one and the outside carpeted. i have to carpet the deck and build the lower room next. the kitties have been playing on/in it all day and night. :mrgreen::blsmoke::peace:

you would think a couple screws and some carpet. i've been to hoe depot 3 times now. i keep buying more power tolls. that stapler sure is nice. :mrgreen::hump::blsmoke::peace:
i'm still under 200 dollars. :bigjoint:

Im like a kid in a candy store when i go to home depot with money in my pocket..:hump::blsmoke: and yes power staplers make thing alot easier but only if its got POWER:mrgreen:

will you leave it up during the rain seasons or take it down.. because i know wet carpet can get rank smelling.:blsmoke:

it's used carpet. it already has a little stale funk to it. we have a cat tree that's been outside for 5 or 6 years now that held up really well. the carpet on it is still good just the screwed together pieces are coming loose. i was thinking about some type of awning. :blsmoke:
