I have two cbl 23 wats. One for every three plants. I'm puting them in the window seal during the day to harden them up for outside. I have them on a 24 hour light sced. now. Any tips?

Keep the cfls as close as you can without touching the plant (2 inches)
Id wait till you sex them before putting them in their final homes so you don't waste time with males.
Let tap water sit at least 48 hours (cap off) before using.

Don't add any nutes until your plants show you they need em (unless your soil has no nutes) even then start at 1/4 the strength and work your way up to the recomended dose .

Cfls can actually grow some great plants
Don't listen to the cfl haters

If you have moths or butterflies in your area id pick up some form of spray to keep them from eating your plants
They eat the bud from the inside out leaving a shit trail all through your buds. They cause bud rot and mold
I hate those fuckers
Better safe than sorry

Thanks this helped a very lot. I'm glad you told me about the butterflys cause there are tons of the in my grow spot outside. Do you know what kills them?
I was planing on adding nutes at week three. How can you tell when it needs them.

You might wanna cover up the clear parts of your homemade pots that expose the soil to light but looks great! Good luckkk

When I get paid I'm gonna go buy some soil and nutes. I'm gonna end up transplanting them into some big gulp cups. Any advise on what soil and what nutes? The soil I'm using now was dug up from one of my moms pots that she grows ivory in

I dont know if your local home depot or lowes carries it
But its a soil called "kellogs patio plus" it goes for about 5 bucks a bag

Very good soil for cheap
I use it with great results

I have pics but don't want to hi jack your thread

My friend uses fox farm ocean forest
And my plants are outgrowing his

Call your local home depot and see if they carry it

I have pics in my thread
Just click on the Link in my Sig if you want to see what it can do..

If you have Hydro stores near you, Get some Fox Farm Soil. Either Ocean Forest or Light Warrior (Which I use) and for the mean time, before you transplant, cover those cups with some ductape. Roots do not like ANY light

Get more budget. 1 23 watt per 3 plant's isn't going to do it man... Besides you're using the wrong spectrum for veg anyway. Good luck man. 93' You're old enough for a job. GET THAT MONEY!

I have a job. I'm just waiting to get paid. I'm trying to hold off on transplanting till then. There's a home depot pretty close to where I stay. I'm gonna try to keep my spending down to seventy bucks...can any of you guys make a list of what ill need? Like nutes, soil, lights.
