I think i have identifyed the cause of my yellowing and curling leaves.

I have 5 lemon skunk plants that are 4 weeks old now. I vegged for 3 weeks and then switched to 12/12 for 2 days and that is when i noticed the plants leave not looking healthy. I was then advised to go back to vegging until the plant is healthy.

The temp in my tent is never above 80F and the humidy is aboput 40%.

ive been using these nutes. My medium is Coco ... http://www.hesistore.com/acatalog/Hesi_Starter_Kit.html

do you think these nutes arent good enough?

My real question is what i should do to go about gettin the plants healthy again?? please help

pics .... View attachment 2105980View attachment 2105981

well buddy i would repot as those plants look rather root bound and start in with some NUTES cuz thats a definite N deficiency.

Friends plant symptoms from other articles seem to be a Nitrogen deficiency but also seem like it could be from over-watering....but when talking it over with a friend I'm pretty sure he over fertilized his month old vegetative plants with too much Fox Farm Big Bloom.

Should the soil be flushed or would that hurt the plant even more?
well skitzo without pics its kinda hard to tell are leaves drooping? where is the yellowing located? are there brown burns on any of the edges of the leaves?

Here's the problem, the newer and some older leaves are curling up, pretty much creasing.. I just read the stickies n it kinda sounds like copper def but it didn't go in depth so I'm not sure. Hopin someone with more exp will chime in and help a brotha out. Thanks in advance.

well whats the temp? i find cannoing from cal def. and other micro deficiencies like i tell most people dissolve half a vitamin pill in your water and water as normal

Hey RIU. First time grower here. I got 2 clones on Saturday and moved them into FF Happy Frog soil on Sunday. I watered them after transplanting and again this morning. My Northern Lights looks strong. But my Trainwreck looks a little saggy. I am worried it is shock from the new soil maybe? I have not tested the soil at all yet. I really appreciate any help.

probably a combination of soil shock and being in direct light keep em out of direct light till they get used to the new medium.

Ok I know how to get rid of spider mites and i rarely have issues with them,I always spray my plants down when i receive them and also 2x veg and 1x flower. Hate those spider mites lol, any way i received a blue widow clone from a friend he grew out his mother and i loved it so wanted a clone.

Any way i took it home and i noticed a bit of spider mites on the bottom of the leaves so i kept it at my bros house while i treated it 4 days later No signs of em clone is 1.5 feet tall i took a cutting then i threw into my flower room. a few hours later, i check my other plants wich is about 18 of em nxt to the clone and i realize it still had spider mites i immediatly took it out and sprayed it down again.

My question is should i be worried about the other plants even tho it was only in there for a couple hours? (i think just 5 mins is enough for those bastard to spread)but want to kno if any1 went thru this?? or has any input in my situation?

you think i should spray em down tonight during feed, they are in 3rd week of flower.

for my immediate solution spray i use liquid lady bug. and as for my preventive i use a combo of leaf shine,az max, and sm-90

Thanx in advance ,happy growing

always use preventative measures you think they had a chance to get mite spray em down, i recommend alternating 2 poisons in combo with neem oil or extract and mighty wash

i know youve tried helping me before, but i thot that maybe if i posted here also, someone may be able to solidify any advice.

i am a bubbleponics grower. a few days ago, i noticed that my plant was starting to get brown spots and turn a little bit yellow. so sunday night, i changed the res water to plain distilled water. after 24 hours, it didnt seem to get any better at all, in fact it seemed to get worse. fearing nute def, i added a half Tsp of of GH maxi grow to the same res from sunday night about this time last night. it still seems like its getting worse everytime i look and i have no idea what to do. Someone help me please!

after hours of research, ive decided that maybe i have a few nute def added together. so i finished out the flush, added half str veg nutes with half dose of epsom salts to help clear up the purple branches, and i added REAL ph down this time and have my ph ~6...idk if it helps, but this is a white widow plant...if anyone has any advice, feel free. im open to critisim.

I built myself a bubble cloner after a failed attempt using jiffy peat pellets and clonex rooting hormones. It is made from a 4gal rubermaid tote with a 10 inch airstone and a dual outlet air pump driving both ends of the air stone. Needless to say I still failed. I'm using dynagro KLN and one teaspoon per gallon, ph is 7, stems are submerged in water not sure if they are supposed to be? I added on tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide per gallon after getting a clear slime build up. They seem healthy and none died but I had to scrap them because it had been three weeks with little to no root development and the slime kept building up. I thought I was in the clear after seeing a 1/8in root but the never got any larger after another week. What am I doing wrong please help.
well the jiffey pelet should not be submerged nor the stem maybe the very bottom piec of stem. i recoomend using rockwool instead of jiffy pellet for cloning and jiffy pellets for seedlings. the hydrogen peroxcide is fine and will help with the slime. KLN is good product too. try to lower pH to around 5.6-6.0

looking like its getting better, once damage is done it doesnt go away you have to wait for new growth to really judge weather it has improver or not but you sound like on the right track i hope some more experienced users will help me out here, so well see

looking like you need just plain water and half a vitamin pill, micro defs. are starting to show from Nute lockout probably a combination of thing, plain water some vitamins and pH it to around 6.4

I've never done bubble cloning, only aero. However I have much better success if I scrape the stem section that's inside the cloner. Just take off the outer layer. Also, remove the foliage that's not outside the cloner. I noticed that second pic had a leaf below the plug. It's just going to rot away in the darkness and risk problems. Oh, and drug store peroxide is bad. It has stabilizers in it that are bad for plants potentially, and 3% is too low of a concentration to help. You need that 30% grade stuff if you're using it in hydro.

hey man, i bought the vitimans this morning, but havent used them yet. i changed my res water again this morning to 200ppm tap water ph adjusted to ~6...some of the new growths are getting the same spots slowly, so im just going to let them sit in the res for a couple of days, or a week or some shit and just pray for the best at this point...i just hope they dont die.
