Hey there RIU members, i'm hoping anyone who has grown indoors in soil before can give me a bit of help.

I am currently about to start 7 plants (4 dna rocklock, 1 bubblegummer, 1 special queen special kush, 1 gh big bang) All will be grown in 13cm 1.5 litre pots for around 4 weeks before i move them into 18 litre pots for flowering.

All will be grown in a good soil mix bought from the hyrdostore, under a 600w dual spectrum HPS light n reflector.(And yes i know 7 plants is pushing it for that amount of light)

I will be giving them natural rainwater for there whole lifespan (Not forgetting to start off very light on the nutes when it comes to that stage) They will definitely be getting the extra week or 2 flowering to fatten up and give the couchlock affect.

Can anyone suggest what i might harvest off each plant in weight roughly?:?

I've read about people only harvesting 34 grams off one plant after vegging for longer then i plan to!

If you are indoors I would not give them rain water.... mold, pests and anything else you can think of can be brought in that way... you might not see the bugs but the little larva are waiting for a good home!

sorry I didn't answer your question... there is no way to know how much you will harvest from your plants unless you grow them exactly like you want to every time and you get a average weight. what I do is grow the same strain out of the same pkg all at once and then divide your total by the amount of plants and you will get a good thought on your future grows of that strain from the same genes

I grow indoors, organically, and I use 5-gallon buckets in a 4'X2'X8' closet under three 250W HPS, and one 400W MH... I prefer both types for the dursation of the entire grow, not just for flowering or veg... I find I get better yields form happier plants this way...And I just let tap water(which I test pH on often, and let it sit out for at least 24-72 hours before using to water with or in teas), because if u use rain water, there's no telling what u r introducing to your garden and plants... I FIM and supercrop, and usually get around 1-1.5 lbs, on avg from 6-8 plants in my space... But yields r so hard to determine, with so many different growing conditions, nutes, and strains... It'd be hard to say how much u will get... I never run out and only run about two big harvests a year... I have the space to let mine veg out for two and a half to three months before inducing flowering, which is another two-three months depending on whether I hav a longer flowering equitorial sativa, or a shorter flowering indica... It's all very relative, and yet very different with everyone's setup... The only reason I can pretty much know what I will get is because I have consistantly grown the same strains out, the smae way, under the same conditions, time and time again, and the yields have pretty much been about the same with each crop... You will just haveta do this to be able to have a ballpark idea of what u will produce each time... Without the consistancy of controlled conditions and repeated methods, itz anyone's guess...

I know that i was just curious as to what i might harvest if grown correctly in perfect conditions in that length of veg time.

But, the longer the veg time, if your space can contain them when they stretch during flowering, the more u will ultimately get...

Woah your setup sounds awesome but it's way outta my league lol! I'm only using one light, and id be happy with 1-1 n a half ounces a plant, never mind 1-1.5 pounds! Well put :joint:

I was hoping to get a ballpark figure at least lol
The only thing I can think of to get a ballpark figure is to use the advanced search feature and read up on other peoples grows that are similar in set up and genetics to you. The numbers will probably be all different though.

My veg area is in an attic which is very cool at this time of the year(Almost ice cold) and with the fans it lets me move the lights closer to the plants as the light isnt giving off much heat with the cold atmosphere.

I would love to veg them longer but i have to move them to a tent with a carbon filter when they start to stink! ,Unless you guys think an ozone generator would wipe out the smell of flowering plants in an attic/loft?

Ozone is bad for you.
