you can do that, I ll be doing the same when mine is ready.
Thanks for your input Jody, there are still a lot of smaller bud under the canopy, I just think they'll fatten up a bit once they are able to get more light.

I'd say give it a shot....it may take a few days to recover after and start fattening up again so you might want to take all the tops that are ready all at once. What are your thoughts on just taking the top buds and leaving the lower buds to ripen a bit more? I know fruits and vegetable don't all ripen at the same time.
Do you have a pic of the lower buds, because if they look young while the tops are done you can harvest the tops, and restart the feed cycle for the lower buds, which while fatten them up wayy more while waiting on the to mature, buuut if they are looking somewhere near ready you can just let the ripe out without feed again.
+++++++++++repJust wanted to post a few pics. to show what I'm working with.
The tops are getting really close to being done, while some of the lower buds look as though
they need to mature a bit more.
I think I'm going to take only the tops for now (looks like another week)
and leave the lower buds to find out if they'll plump up.
It may have had too much shade, or stress, or both....don't know????????3 weeks thats crazy early
