Look at it this way.
You should be sitting in jail right now for growing a class 1 substance.

But someone up above smiled on you and is giving you another chance. Maybe God sent an messenger to warn you.

Chop it up now and dont grow in your dam apartment

IDK she knows and doesnt like the smell but is cool about it. Plug the vent immediately. Make sure you get a grip on controling the odor. Get some dryer sheets today to. They work in a pinch with covering up smell. Get a carbon filter and exhaust it out as far away from her as possible. Keep using dryer sheets around the apartment.

A half ass'd setup is a sure fire way to get in a hell of a lot of trouble real fast. Count yourself lucky she spoke to you before the cops!!

Time to move. No sense in closing the barn door after the horses have been stolen. Time to move or continue to trust your neighbors with your life.

Or your neighbors get pissed because you are playing the music too loud or the cops come on a noise complaint or something and smell your shit.

what do u guys think
I think you are potentially causing harm to the legalization movement by growing illegally. I go as far as to suggest that you are helping the prohibitionists by continuing to live in a place where you can't get at least some legal right to cultivate. Yeah, maybe you will say that's not a choice, but I'd be putting every resource into getting out of there -- or at the very least, getting out of the shared living space, and not just because of weed or whatever.

As for the smell. Even with a legal grow in a detached single-family home in a neighborhood with very little foot traffic, and did I mention a grow that I have a license for, even then, I'm worried enough about the smell during flowering that I go to some pretty long lengths to keep it private. I can't imagine doing an illegal grow, just because it's so incredibly difficult to keep the smell contained. Worse, you get very used to it, and what you won't notice after a few weeks, is blindingly obvious to others who are not desensitized.
