Either way big bud is suppose to be good as it has a low PK therefore it does not throw off EC yet it put's all the animo acid's in which no other bloomboosters do, i'll see how it goes

Consider getting advanced nutes overdrive for the 2 weeks after i stop using big bud, found out you don't use for 4 weeks it's use from the beginning of week 2 to the end of week 4.
Added more soil in pot's they have about 15l's of coco in each pot now, sunday this is end of week 1 12/12 looking forward to seeing what comes of this big bud hopefully there will be buds starting to form by next sunday

With the fan now hanging high enough to hit the plant's from it's somewhat pikey styled hanger (a piece of metal wire) they have been back to doing well, better air circulation, less temp, they are looking extremely healthy i wish i had a good quality camera to show everyone following this grow the healthy colour and shape of the fan leaves.
They are now in their 8th day of 12 12 and they have just been given there first feed of advanced nutrients big bud, i hope it goes well.

Wannita have they clocked on or just close to? my neighbourhood is a lot different to the past "ghettos" and hostles i have lived in, everyone is old, peaceful i never see police here but i know it would take one person to notice something dodgy for me to be buggered best of luck to you

Oh the top leaves of the Candy Kush (back right) i don't know why they are curling down like that but they are a healthy colour and they have the same good texture, i've assumed this as being too close to the light as they keep growing closer towards it, the light has been raised by an inch if they haven't improved by lights on tomorrow i will be researching this.
If anyone has had this before advice would be much appreciated

One more thing anyone know weather i should feed all the time with just big bud? will this lack of nitrogen cause nitrogen deficiency? i don't know why i'm asking this of course it will :/.
Going to feed with both A + B and the Big Bud in every day for the next 3 weeks.
Basically i'm wondering will it be better than this or should i feed with half of the water mixed with A + B and the other half Mixed with Big bud? then water them in seperatly?
I'm sorry i am not making much sense here i know what i want to say just struggling to find the right words to say it

neighbour 3 doors down has been having a ciggie on landing now weather has warmed up, one of my grow rooms is below where he's been leaning over balcony n i had the windows slighly open now he's mentioned someone below is smoking sommat really strong..now i have every single window closed so im gettin a build up of smell..its mainly older pple here..gonna chop on wed/thurs maybe 4-6days early maybe..also got smoke alarm n boiler check on 3rd apr! will let u know how it all pans out..

Thank you all, wannita i had the same but when i spent the night before smoking a half oz i really wasn't waking up for him when he turned up at half 7 and they just posted a letter saying to ring them to get it done claiming it has to be within the next 3 months, you should do this rather than risk getting immature buds in my personal opinion
And my next grow i'm going to get a slightly bigger tent saw some nice ones in my hydro shop, going to grow 6 in there of a strain i find out reacts well to topping and i'm only going to top them once with the uncle ben's technique for 4 main colas.
I'm worried about the smell that will be building soon hence why i'm going to get a carbon filter kit is this not an option for you?

Keep feeding the A and B as directed and add the big bud and PK 13/14 as well (when the instructions say to use it) shouldn't get any nute burn as they're formulated to be used by the plant at certain times. I would recommend an indica dominant hybrid for your next grow, or a few different ones they tend to respond really well to topping and yield really big I've never gotten less than 2 oz per plant using topped indicas for 4 colas (under small CFL's) so you'll be ace with your big light there!

One strain I'll say is brilliant for heavy yield fast growth is Pineapple Express by G13 Labs lovely plant, or AK-48 by Nirvana for a really fast flowering phase (5-7 weeks) and Critical + (used to be called critical mass) I had some of these on my 1st grow and if I had treated them better (more than half of the big one got burnt to shit) I could have easily got 6oz a from her under a 400w Dual Spec HID lamp.

Others I can suggest are what I have at the moment, Dinafem's White Widow is growing really strong, G13 Labs Sour Candy is growing really strong and fast too

The buds are coming on fine, pretty dense too..the pistils have turned ginger and calyx are swelling.. as for council I have ignored there 2 letters they posted so rang n this is the date they gave me..after choppin i will put em in air tight large container n take then somewhere very safe and transfer buds into cardboard box the night b4..then do massive cleaning mission etc. will check again bout carbon filters or summat for next grow. I still have 12 in veg thankfully there not huge but will delay putting them into flower incase i need work doing via council..these are easy to hide..but prob will have to top these otherwise there gonna grow too big..theyve been in veg now 7wks about 6/7inch atm. Do you know whether cheese strain are ok to top?? The weather we are getting at the moment only makes the smell worse so i suggest u sort ur carbon filter within the next couple of wks.. good luck

What breeder are your cheeses from? I had Greenhouse Seeds - Exodus Cheese and they didn't respond very well at all to topping, however from experience indica's top well and sativas not so (generally speaking) hybrids top well too.

Thank you matchbox, exactly the reply i needed, yes my next grow i will probably get them but i want to try out a cheese strain, my next grow i'm buying a new tent as this cheap one would probably collapse in about 6 month's i'm going to get a tent a bit wider so i can do 6 plant's in there, still going to have my 600w hanging in the middle but i'm going to add in two vertically hung 150watt hps's either side of the tent to aim for a big dam harvest, 10oz's off this harvest will have me paid off a lot of debt with my student loans electric gas company etc... and also pay for my driving which is what i was aiming for but i am still aiming for a lb my current motto is aim for the best, hope for the worst and you will never be let down.

Some statistics for you all, i am here with them now and they are looking extremely healthy still even though they were only fed big bud in last nights feed, i think i'm going to fed with big bud one day then A + B and Big bud the next as i don't want to constantly have an equal NPK i want to have hat P and K at a slight advantage.

Light is 16inches above the tallest plant,
The Pure AK which has always been the tallest, this has the smallest fan leaves which has created a lot of huge extra nodes, this plant is 29inches tall.
The Cotton Candy kush is extremely leafy with fan leaves, it is 25inches tall but is catching up from day to day i'm assuming this plant will be the lowest yield with one big fat head.
The White Widow x Big Buddah is my favorite measuring at 28.5 inches tall and shows no problems.
Identifying from the shape, colour, and physique although the unknown plant is shorter at a height of 24inches (smaller than the ww x bb) i believe this to be another cotton candy kush.

You'll need more than 6 plants to get a kilo unless your willing to veg for 8-12 weeks and have tree's most people have trouble yielding 1lb from 6 plants under 1000w.

And instead of hanging 150w hps's use 125w or 250w CFL's as they can get so much closer to the plants and adding less heat to the grow room and they'll be cheaper as you wont need ballasts or anything OH AND 150w hps are hard to find over here. CFL's work absolutely brilliantly when hung vertically as none of the light is wasted and you can get them as close as, where they are needed.

well indica's seem to top well (generally speaking) so the worst you could do is clone em then top, if they don't respond very well just flower the topped ones and you have clones of em to fall back on.

if you choose a cheese strain you will need a large carbon filter and fan 6"-8" the Oder is very strong in late flower.
for high yield go for big bud strain and 2 x 600w hps, air cooled shade if you can , 1.2m x 2.4m tent and 6 x 30 ltrs pots ( root mass reflects yeild 1 gallon to 1 oz)
grow plants to 36" and top down to 24", make sure all the tops all level, a week later turn over to flower
and you should easy hit a 25-30 oz

Yeah i will get a bigger tent so i can fit two more in tent with a big vent between 6 and 8 probably 6 but an expensive well performing extractor fan with a silencer attached.
Going to have these vegged under 600watt hps for half it's veg then 2 hps's for the second half probably veg about 6 weeks going to go all out with a whole set of ph perfect advanced nutrients air pump ec control and see what yield i can get, maybe a taller tent there is room for 7ft till the ceiling

you have the height, if you can keep the temp down under 30c
1-2 plants per 600w light
