alright guys im into the 3rd week of veg on my 3 lemon skunk plants i am running a set up as follows ...
1.2m Tent
Kaizen Light System 600W
5” TT Fan
6” Extraction Kit carbon filter

ive only just finished 3rd week of veg and the plants are developing a noticeable odour already inside the tent I am NOT currently using my carbon filter as i was planning to set it up when i move to 12/12 im just wondering do you think this will be enough to mask the smell when my plants start to bud ? also will the tent keep the smell contained ? :joint:

A 6" fan with a good carbon filter on it should be enough to mask the odoer of your tent. Are you exhausting the air from the filter outside or are you putting it back into the tent. Think of keeping it in the tent. They work more efficiently in my opinion that way.

i was planning to run it under the floor boards but now youve said that im in two minds. would that just mean running the ducting back into the tent ?

iv got a 32inX32in tent and bought the smallest carbon filter i could find for 6" (still quite big). I noticed some (not much) smell while running a 240cfm fan. now that I am using a 435cfm blower, the tent has negative pressure (therefore no smell escapes) and there is no smell at all. I am more then a month into flowering.

You wouldn't need any ducting. Just connect the fan directly to the filter with a flange. Either hang it from the ceiling is stand it up in the tent somewhere.

I grew 5 plants my first grow using only dryer sheets and store air freshener. No one noticed anything until they got into my bedroom. Just make sure you plan ahead.

You should be fine. If you're still worried just get some ONA and put a fan on top. That stuff works wonders.

or you can put it outside the tent with some ducting.. iv got my filter on the floor outside the tent with the blower right on top... then ducting from there to the top of the tent and in threw the opening.
