I will let you guys know what Attitude ends up saying about this. I will also show some pics once I get to a place where I can upload them w/o it taking 4-ever. Wish me luck people!

I just checked my e-mail and this is what they said:
Hi there

Sorry to hear this.

As is our policy, please return the damaged items in the original unopened packaging to us for a replacement

The Attitude
PO BOX 803
Ipswich
IP3 8XZ
United Kingdom

Many Thanks,
Jodie - The Attitude

*Please note that we sell our seeds for souvenir purposes only and for no other intended use*

They really want me to send crushed up cannabis seeds back to the UK. That seems a bit silly to me, but I guess that I am going to have to do it if I want my shit. I am going to e-mail them again with some more questions. Just wanted to update you guys.

very strange happenings, especially with other stories recounted here by racerboy and others
the most plausible explanation is this is a new practice done by 1(?) or more customs screeners
post office would not do this, way too big a legal deal
though it does suck for OP, inconvenience at a minimum, does this mean customs is getting worn down with their work load?
don't have time/energy/care about seeds to the point of recording shipping info and whatever else is in the process?
always looking for the silver lining

I made 2 separate orders from Attitude a couple of days apart. They were dispatched on the same day. I just received them in the mail today, and I opened them and to my surprise every seed had been smashed. I spent $300 between the 2 orders w/ guranteed shipping & handling w/ the t-shirt's, and the seeds. Needless to say I am upset. I just e-mailed Attitude, and I hope/pray that they will do something for me, because I can't take that kind of a loss. I took pics, but I couldn't figure how to attach them plus I am using my cell phone for internet access.

I am probably going to end up taking a loss. Has anyone ever heard of this happening before. Any thoughts and info would be appreciated!

BTY my seeds were in tin cans too. I did not get any letter from Customs either FYI. :hump:
its too late to say it now, but try sannies next time bud.

I got the tin for the seeds to be put in. I hadn't had any trouble until these orders. I think they were at Customs in NY together, because i received both orders today when I checked my mail. I'm going to send another e-mail w/ pics tomorrow. If I don't here back then I am going to dispute the charges.
Sorry for your problems, Kentuckyboy. For what it's worth, I always buy from Attitude, always order the coffee cup, and never have an issue. Since the seed packets are in the cup, there's little chance of them getting crushed. And I suspect (hope) that a coffee cup being sent from "Attitude Souvenirs" has a better chance of greasing through customs than other shipping options. Plus, I like getting the original breeder's packaging, just an extra assurance that I'm getting what I ordered. I have never had a problem with the 'Tude; great product, great service, great prices.:peace:

I see you have contaced the customer service. Send them back. That's a lot of money to swallow. Post your experience afterwards here.

I just ordered from Attitude but I always "stealth" the order with a mug or t-shirt (it's an extra 10 USD or so). It gives you a diehard guarantee and eliminates something or some dickhead from squashing your seeds. It could have been an accident where it just got mashed by something placed on top of it. I can't really see some postal dork wearing a German helmet and swastika armband swinging a hammer on every envelope that seems suspicious.... but who the hell knows nowadays with the nazi governments we have.

Sending the seeds back is a bit bogus IMO. I would think taking pictures would be suffcient but I guess anyone could get some shitty bag seed and hammer them up and then tell the seed company that their seeds got "mysteriously" squashed. And in turn, keep the good seeds and get another batch on the bogus claim.

I'd email them back and request that they re-send your the new seeds ASAP...BEFORE they get your returned seeds. Otherwise, you will be waiting forever. Ask if they will reinburse you for shipping as well (or throw in some freebies)

Customs agents randomly pick packages to open, no different then when passing your self/luggage through the airport. I got my order from attitude a few weeks back without issue, however I read a thread on here (An old thread) about the NY customs wait times and one person had mentioned not to order more then 120$ USD worth at a time in case this happens. Sorry to hear they gotcha, I'm sure you'll get a full replacement from attitude and let's hope it gets past them this time!

Do they microwave packages? That would blow the seeds up wouldn't it? Odd though .
i can't imagine them microwaving packages? what if something metal was inside, let alone almost guaranteed plastic packaging of some kind. doesn't seem like something they'd do. thats just my opinion though

Maybe not a microwave oven per say but some type of xray machine.

Im going to pop some bag seeds in my micro wave when I get home to see if they look the same as the damaged ones posted.

To be honest disputing the charge? You paid for your souvenirs to get to you right?
They got to you so disputing the charge won't be right. If u r in a rush call them and explain it to the tude
Yeah but they are no longer souvineers... chargeback should be last resort though.

Attitude doesn't send out smashed seeds, at least on purpose. Logic suggests your beans were smashed after they left Attitude.
When you are checking out and paying for your order from Attitude you get a pop-up that asks if you want any extras such as a T-shirt
or "original shipper's tin", something close to that. By ordering the shipper's tin your beans will be mailed out in a crush-proof tin. I started
asking for the tin because of security concerns -- a postal inspector told me they drill small packages from overseas coming into the US. If
your package is drilled and nothing found they tape it closed and send it on. Look for 2 small 1/8" holes drilled along the center-line near the
end of the package. Sometimes it's hard to see unless you are looking for it. If they sniff contraband from their drilling they confiscate the
package and send you a letter saying your package was confiscated. They NEVER, she assured me, come to anyone's house after drilling a
package. So, invest the extra $3 (?) and ask for the shipper's tin. A T-shirt is another good way to avoid having your package drilled.

Good luck, BigSteve.

I will soon be placing a 300 plus order. Greenhouse, Super Lemon Haze, Cali-Connection, Blackwater, Chem 4OG, Purple Chem Fem, and pre-98 Bubba Bx2 fem. The last two choices are up in the air. Any input on the Genetics would be great.

I feel bad for the bean crushage, Its great that Attitude is working with you. This gives me far more confidence in my ordering. I will be glade to get some new genetics. Ive been growing clone only OG "oceans grown" kush, and granddaddy for ever now. Bring on THE HYBRIDS!:hump:

I will defiantly get a tin and T-shirt. This info was super great:clap: and just in time.

Peace from Califorina

I just received my order from Attitude and I just op for the tin can. All seeds arrived without any problems. Hope you get your order taken replaced. I have only ordered seeds from Nirvana because of the excellent customer service. This was my 1st time ordering from Attitude.

I sent Attitude another e-mail, and they got right back with me again. Great customer service IMO. They said I could send both of my orders together in the same package. Plus she said to make sure that I send it with the track and trace option. That away if it gets lost I won't have to take a loss., They said that I would be reimbursed somehow for the shipping. I'm more worried about getting my seeds reimbursed, not the shipping. I will send it back either tomorrow or Monday. I guess once they get the package I should know when they will send the new package. Hopefully it goes that smooth. And for everybody that hasn't read the whole thread, I paid for the stealth and insured shipping w/ a shirt and tin. I imagine that customs where the reason for the damaged seeds. I have ordered from Attitude several times in the past w/o incident, so I would still recommend them. If they make good on these damaged seeds then I would definitely recommend Attitude to everyone out there. It's going to be a while, but I will update this thread with the news on whatever ends up happening. I guess about a couple weeks at the least.
