i've been meaning to do this for years now. i wanted to build it inside the house but we don't really have the lay-out for it. so against the fence it goes. this stuff is time consuming. i spent today getting supplies and building the main runner. off of this i will add rooms and more runners connecting the rooms. the kitties like it so far. they were climbing the post to get on the roof. now they have a nice runner. :mrgreen::blsmoke::peace:

Dude, at the very top you should put like a little look out spot! You know, like the crows nest on a ship. My cat Peepers used to love getting to the highest point possible, and keeping look out over the neighborhood. And just mocking the dog.

If you made them a slide, I wonder if they'd use it....

i have 2 sheets of plywood and a stack of 2 x 4's. :mrgreen:

and no expense was spared in carpeting the planks...I love it I saw once on tv where these people had done the entire inside of the house in catwalks for their furry ones...

no, it dries right out. we've had a cat tree in the yard for 5 or 6 years now. it's finally starting to come apart. the carpet on it is still fine though.

lmao, I love the slip and slide idea even more than just a normal slide. If you don't have a pool, you could get like a decorative bird bath for them to slide into.

lol, I can't wait to see what more you do fdd. You need more towers! A nice spot for sunbathing! Some cubby holes...

no....... i ran into a snag. trucks in the shop getting a new distributor so i couldn't get my staple gun. also, upon further investigation i see my fence is somewhat "wobbly". not real bad but too much to where i can't hang a lot of weight on it. i need to build posts and pier blocks i guess. ???? somehow i have to support the weight from the front.

Dude, I clicked your classic link in your sig...tripped me out. I'm smokin, so it took me longer than it should have to realize the chick wasn't singin in English. I like it when the band joins in just "ahhh"ing, and she starts to go crazy.
