Hi guys,

My baby mother plant is starting to show signs of something. I am unsure what it is though. Soil pH is at 6.0, been fresh watering, first nute watering last night. Temps at canopy are 78F. Sitting in promix in a 5 gal pot.

Any ideas on what could be causing this?

I see light and dark green leafs, purple stem.Looks like the start of a p deficiency.

You said you just used nutes, so give it a few days, and see what happens.

What did you feed with?

oh no im not gonna mess with the pH at all, 6.0 is what the runoff tests naturally. it's gotta be ok becuase I have 4 plants in flower that are doing awesome with same ph watering and promix. i'm gonna ttribute these issues to nutrient dificiency and hope to see a heatlher plant in a week otherwise I have to think possible virus

it's been a few days since the nute water (1/2 strength) and the problem is getting worse. going to check my pH today after I pick up a decent meter, only think I can think of is that the pH has dropped for some reason. I just noticed that my 2 week old seedlings have it as well... I hope it's not a virus!

it coild be lack of nutes n too much water maybe
you are right. it donned on me that I hadn't watered this plant with nutes in over 3 weeks so i think the discoloration is nute dificiency. I can rule pH out as I just tested it and the soil is testing at 6.2.

I must have been high as hell when I made my previous post b/c I realize it's only bee 18 hours since I nute watered, not a few days lol. I also watered my seedling with 1/4 strength nute mix. Hoping for the best in a few days

looks like a tiny nute burn...u did add ur nutes in yesterday for the ifrst time...u added a tad to much...also ph is kinda low, its ideal at 6.5 give or take a .5 max

....first of all, how much did you actually use (mLs) what soil is this and how hot is it to begin with? what kind of drainage do you have? 3 holes in the bottom or 50 holes? Is it straight soil or a mix of a bunch of stuff? Temps???( 78 at canopy is not a proper help, we need highs and lows too) And 5.8 is very low for soil... I have been soil only for years and I dont go below a 6.5 ever

If I had to guess I would say calmag would take care of it

I used 6ml/gal of grow, 2.5ml/gal of pro-tekt, 2.5ml/gal of mag-pro and 2.5ml/gal of k-l-n

I am using promix

It's got 18 1/2" drainage holes

ambient temps are 68.9-72.4F, canopy temps are 70-76F

Soil pH @ 6.2

Since I haven't nute watered it since I cut it as a clone (3 weeks) I am assuming it is nute deficiency. I don't think it is the pH because i have flowering plants that use the same nutes and water and they have no issues. I'm hoping waiting a week will show a healthier plant - im hoping its a simple problem of no nutes
