Would a 400 HPS bulb be great for a closet?

It's a 8 foot tall closet and about 3 feet wide and 4 feet long? I am going to use a 400 watt hps bulb to grow about 6 plants? Would this work? If not what do I need

just make sure you have good ventilation so it doesnt get to hot in there.

yea, the 400 will work fine, but I think 6 plants is too many. I would stick with 3 plants for that space, and allow them to bush out, and still be under the light. You will need to cool that light, with either good ventilation or an air cooled hood.

i say all the advice about venting that hot air and being able to use a 400w is spot on as far as how many plants i would say about 4 in a 2x2 with some LST to promote the bushiing
