yellowing leaves

hi guys, just started my 1st grow, sowed seeds on 7th feb, kept them under cfl's and a 100w halo, then on sat i put them under 600w HID dual spec, temps are fine, 75-85f, rH is constant 27-32% one plant started out smaller thn the other, bit limp, and has had yellowing leaves,(all over)-think i may have overwatered this 1 and the leaves are drooping towards soil and withered, i left it to dry out and re watered throughout this time( nearly 2wks) the other has been ok, then today had a look and its starting to droop also, but still alot greener thn the other, have the lights 20" above plants, just took a ph test and its either 7 or 6.5 s its just a basic solution tester.

any ideas wat cld be, just checked the temp n its at 29c hum at 25%..???

any help wld be grateful, as i dont want to either over/under water them. i have them in bio bizz all-mix, was told this has 3wks of nutes, n not to add any to seedlings..

kl kl, but both are in same medium, same light, no nutes yet as only 2wks and are in nute rich soil. my ph is a bit high. like 7.2(aprx)
can i add a drop of bio-grow in with water to drop ph?

How often do you water them? Are you watering the leaves too or just the roots?

yeah i think what iv did is REALLY packed in the bottom layer of soil, and its retaining water, i feed them with a 10ml medicare syringe,
i water the roots from beneath, and water the soil surafce, iv just ran a few tests, n my temps were a bit high. soil ph is 6.0......

my water is 7.2 aprx, ive made up a VERY weak nute solution and got it up to 6.5 should i give the plants this incase its a Ni lockout? or just feed normal water, temps are 25.5c soil surface, 27-28c at plant top surface, rH is only at 25% as im having to leave my cupboard open to maintain these temps. ive just changed it round to see what temp it goes up2 with doors closed....

You're feeding them with a syringe from beneath the surface? Dude, I think you're really over-babying it. It's just a plant. Just water it every few days when it dries out. Overwatering is likely your problem. Plants need air to their roots just as much as they need water. They will die from lack of either.

yeah, this is what i think, also. but im giving them both the same amounts, they re not dried out still wet, and probably very compact beneath the root surface and maybe roots are drowning, but ive also had and still having probs with temps and pH and hum,as i said i just took a pH of the water and its down at 6.0? is this ok? wen i add the tap water to bring it bk up ok? as i really dont want to

No, ph of 6 in soil is not ok. Water will not help you get it up either.

If I were you I would get a new batch of soil, and be sure to mix some dolomite lime (to maintain proper ph). Then replant these plants in the new soil, while getting rid of as much of the old soil from the root system without killing or severly stressing the plant. Sounds like that soil is crap frankly. If you keep it in that soil, you will fight this same issue your entire grow, and never conquer it.

Also, look into better ventilation for your heat issues.

as for venting, well looking at an RVK next week but now have day temps reg'd @ 27c just now with doors near closed. the soil sample i took was not from the bag, sorry i took it from one of the withering plants pots, to check the Ph of the soil, planted 2wks ago.

I don't see that biobizz all soil mix has any dolomite lime added to it, so it's ph will shift easier than if you added dolomite lime. The addition of dolomite lime will keep your ph in the preferred range. I'm telling you, you need to change the soil asap, if you want a healthy plant.

Sure you can add the lime to your soil mix, but I would still change out what's in the pot for some fresh stuff with lime added.

What strain you growing?

yea guys, but not got usb lead for camera to upload pics... my bigger girl was fine last night, i came in this morning ang she was droopy leaves pointing towards soil but still nice n grreen and also quite dry leaved too, but the other is now doing a little better, i just read another thread, where a guy had same prob, watered her and within 30 mins she picked up?? i ju

barneys farm van kush... n got blue cheese to try nxt.. hoping for successful 1st grow.. i think i have really over watered them, got really dry leaves to the touch???

Yup, sounds like over water. Roots can't breathe.

My Vanilla Kush is something like 40 days in flower right now I think. Looking like she needs about 3 more weeks, but flowering pretty nicely.

can i loosten up the soil a tad to let the roots breathe without damaging them, i picked them up and gave the sides a little squeeze.?
