growth problem

So my plants have gotten 2-3 inches tall and have now just stopped, one plant looks like it hasnt grown in days and the other grew an inch and then completely stopped too. Its been 4 days since either one has shown signs of growing....YET both are green, look very healthy and ive been taking care of them.

I would'nt be too concerned as long as there is no signs of illness or under watering. Seedlings can sometimes appear to be stunted but actually all the growth energy is below the soil and the roots are developing. Actually that can be a very good thing it shows you will have strong healthy plants.

what are they in cause it sounds like you might have a rootbound problem

growing with a 75W cfl with 2 23W cfls, watering every 2-3 days, growing in great soil, using a 20/4 hour scale

yeah im not the most experienced but there is NO signs of discoloration or struggling for the plants.

Ok, well pics would be nice and more info on your medium and feeding if any. But, again as long as they are looking happy, don't sweat it.

So, what are they about 2 weeks old? How big is the container they are in?

-note i said they were a couple inches tall but on another post someone said i should probably add more soil up to the first leaves so i did-

Well, now that I see her, you got something going on there. At 3 weeks plus, she should be a lot bigger than that. Have you been soaking the medium when you water?

ive been lightly watering, barely soaking, every 2-3 days and light sources are a 70W cfl + 2 23W cfls

There is the issue. CFLs work best when they are very close to the plant. They can almost be touching it. I use CFLs for seedling stage and never put it more than 2" from my plants. You mentioned you added more soil, that was due to stretching right?

about 4 shakes from a watering pot, and alright that makes sense that the cfls have been giving enough light for them to maintain and stay green but not actually grow i moved the lights about 2 inches away that good?
