I am really thinking about hosting this myself. It would save hundreds and hundreds if I just charged $5 a head. it is 20 acres with a mobile home and 2 camper trailers on it. 3 cleared lots one cleared lot has the mobile home and a fire pit with plenty of parking. one has 2 camper trailers on it with a out house and a fire pit and the other lot is just empty clear lot. plenty of room for tents. I could tie off a area that would be a adult only area and that way we could feel comfortable bringing kids and making it more family oriented. 5 min down the road is lake campbell where you could swim or bring your own boat/canoe/tube and not get charged... not even for parking. I do a annual camping trip every year up there with my friends and it always turns out a good hit. there is over 2000 acres of two tracks across the street. the $5 a head charge is super cheap compared to anything else and the $ would be going to maintain my fathers land instead of $60 for 2 people in the campground owners pocket. just a thought...
 
The reason we hold our local meet-ups before 420 or after Thanksgiving is because many members can't leave their MMJ gardens for days at a time.
You might have a bigger turnout if it wasn't mid-growing season. IMHO

Love it tried to give you good karma it told to spread it around...

Only thing I dont like is kids being allowed I want a adult weekend...lol just my opinion but it would not be a deal breaker for me.
 
yeah i dont really like the idea of kids too but I dont want people getting mad cuz I say no kids. so if i could accommodate them i would try but if people think its a bad idea... im def down with no one under 21

Def agree 21 plus seems an older crowd brings less problems. My issue with kids is kids dont have cards ..I dont have it around my children I wouldnt do it around anyone elses. As for now im sub'd going to watch this for a while and wait for a decision on date and location.

Well we are in Michigan our growing season is 365 days a year. (Indoors) Not to many outdoor medical growers in Michigan. Card holders in Mi can't grow outdoors.
 
I agree.... I would rather not have children there. I am in the same boat as Flower, I do not have it around my children and wouldnt do around anyone elses.
 
I would like it that way so if I do host it will be 21+ and the trip would not just be for card holders in general it would be for rollitup members with cards only. the card holder would be able to bring their spouse, girlfriend, boyfriend or their child that is 21+ and they do not need their card and one friend from outside of rollitup but your friend would also need their mmj card. does this seem fair? would everyone feel safe?

$60 seems steep. I was thinking camping was like $10-12 per person, well I guess if it pays for a caneo ride and a sobar driver


Ok now that i read that alittle better. I see it is for 2 people. I was like $60 each is crazy. but That is about right for 2 people

Problem in Michigan our springs arent that warm in all honestly our ground stays frozen for a while after the last thaws. Our summer is really short not really enough time to grow a nice harvest out doors. So most Michigan people do have to grow indoors. I dont mind my babies being under lock and key.
 
with me it would be $5 a head and you wouldn't be paying for firewood or the other BS. just bring your stuff and set up camp. Idc if you even get naked and run around lol.
