I found pantyhose unusable with home made DIY filters. They can and will plug up with dust, keep an eye on yours. I realized I had a problem when my temps kept climbing day after day. I ended up venting into the attic with no filter at all. I hope yours works out though! As long as its not part of your actual exhaust line I'd imagine it would work ok.

all i need is that inline fan to keep temps right, its only a 400w and it's usually already 65 in my place.
