On a side note... Holy shit my cab and grow room reek like blueberries. I don't know which plant it is, but its overpowering and identical to the.smell of blueberries. It's smells so dam fruity! you can even smell it upstairs, but only the fruit smell, can't smell dank. Just smells like I'm making blueberry pie or some shit. I need to invest in a new carbon filter, clearly mine isn't doing the job. A little disappointed that I haven't seen purple... Guess my luck finally ran out

Honestly, my wife did 80% of it
I don't think we did a great job (ie manicuring the sugar leaves back) probably full of stems too but I don't mind picking that shit out.I had some vinyl gloves which were a godsend and 4 plants took about an hour or so. A couple of the big colas I tried to do a good job for their photo shoot!

if you want the purple to show through lift out the plant and put some ice cubes on the bottom of the pale then set the plant back down on top of the ice. the root ball ahould hold all the soil together enough and the cold on the roots will promote color change...
do this a few days before harvest just in case anything goes wrong these nothing to lose

Yes Ottawa, its still in my cab. Don't remember what kind it is. It was pretty cheap, only cost me 90$. I knew I shouldn't have been cheap with odor control. You get what you pay for. Going to try to find ona to put by the exhaust and supplement the carbon filter.
Thanks Matt I don't care enough to induce it myself....was just hoping one would have it, ya know?!! If I leaves grow room door open to rest of the basement it gets to be about 65 at lights off. Thought that might be cool enough for purple, but it would seem not!

right on man, i want my frisian dew to show some purple since its the main reason i bought the seeds, i wanted something with a bit of bag appeal (need to make some money back on this investment) so i will probally induce if it doesnt have the pheno naturally

That's not too long really. Right? Don't know if you cleaned the gloves already, but an easy way to get the glove hash off is to freeze the gloves. The resin will peel right off with ease when frozen!Honestly, my wife did 80% of it

i dont think it can get you baked that way, from what i have read it needs to heat up to a certain temp before the THC releases its halucinatory properties. may want to look that up but thats why you cant just eat bud and get baked. cuz i was thinking of grinding up some herbs real fine and putting them in some gelcaps and eating like 10 of em lol but someone told me it wouldnt do shit.

I live in a 2 story house and I'm venting straight into my attic with no filter. I can't smell shit! I had the plants out of the cab this morning for 30 min or so then put them away. My wife came in awhile later and said why does it stink up here? I thought u took care of this!Haha, bet itll be fire smelling like that dude! Hope you have some good odor control

Funny, I was just bitching about purple. I'll put up a picture tomorrow, but I went and looked at my plants and one of the blueberry girls ha purple showing on the big fan leaves on the main cola. It looks like a deficiency purple though I think...the whole plant has real dark leaves on all the tops and the calyxs look lavender to be, but its hard to tell under all the crystals all over it. On top of that I am partiality color blind( not primary colors or anything, but certain hues/shades I can't see or confuse my brain) , so I could for sure be wrong.

I hope they start putting on weight soon, they aren't as plump as I thought they'd be, and frankly I feel like I may be disappointed by my yield. Thanks for stopping in! Just try leaving them alone. The stress is reduced to nothing and then there is pop corn and sugar leaf for all! I guarantee in the end that the amount of thc created is higher on the plant left at peace.*
*I ruin stuff too.
