i use 5 gal buckets by the way
I would either go 100% organic or 100% synthetic. If you really want to use bat guano and other poop related fertilizers in your soil mix then your looking to go organic and you should use poop derived fertilizers to supplement the soil throughout the remainder of the grow. Why not just make super soil and be done with it?as far as the RO system, im still not convinced i need one. we use it at some grows and personally haven't seen enough of a difference.i could just be getting lucky... as far as burn goes, well i see your point, so my only real option is to start low and hope i can read the plant well enough to make the adjustments on the fly. i was just trying to get some input as to what ratios you have had some luck with in dirt. i have used promix quite a bit in the past with good results too, however that was with a bunch of AN nutes. this room is kind of a side-project so doesnt need to be a homerun. just looking for a decent harvest with out brain-f*cking myself over the nutes. like i said the room is solid. temps hang around 72-76 at 50%. and i have some very nice kush strains.. HB i have read a lot of your posts and i like your philosophy. so im interested in your advice especially since you have had experience with dyna AN and gh. do you still like Dyna over everythig else? or should i look into some of the cheap powder ferts?
From what the jug of Dyna-Gro says it sounds like their product is for just about any application from soil to hydroponics. It doesn't specifically state coco, but from all the potential applications described I'd be surprised if you didn't get excellent results there as well. And I'm sure that like all other nute applications it's always a good idea to go with about 50/50 grow/bloom until the last 2 weeks of flowering. We don't hear this often or enough but buds form more thickly and develop better overall if sufficient levels of Nitrogen are supplied through at least the first half of the blooming stage. I keep reading very good things about the results with Dyna-Gro apart from Mr. Homebrewer's recomendations.Does Dyna-Gro nutes work good in Coco? also at what ML per gallon would be good to start clones in? is Dyna-gro veg nutes needed in flowering with there bloom nutes ? if so at what ratio?

hmmm hmmmmmm .......HELL NO!!!! lolautoflower?
I thought the leaves looked different. Alot of 3 fingered leaveshmmm hmmmmmm .......HELL NO!!!! lol
How are you achieving this NPK value?I'll be aiming for an NPK of 4-7-7 during weeks 4-9 of flower....
That NPK breakdown is similar to floranova and maxibloom. Mandala seeds likes these numbers. http://www.mandalaseeds.com/Guides/Fertilizing-Smart-GuideHow are you achieving this NPK value?
la confidential clonesI thought the leaves looked different. Alot of 3 fingered leaves
what strain?
it looks that way but if you look closer there are more blades but after lookin again at the pics i see some that look like 3 but there are blades that can be seen on closer look ,I thought the leaves looked different. Alot of 3 fingered leaves
what strain?
Right, but he's using H&G and I believe he said he's planning on mixing DG in there to achieve that ratio. I'm wondering how he's getting to that NPK value. That NPK breakdown is similar to floranova and maxibloom.
I've multiplied rounded divided rounded averaged and added the numbers many times over so I may be a bit off and 4-7-7 is not the exact ratio I will end up with, but it's close to what I will getRight, but he's using H&G and I believe he said he's planning on mixing DG in there to achieve that ratio. I hang them as close as I can without bleaching the leaves, basically around 5000 foot candles at the canopy. Mine happen to be around 18-24 inches but YMMV.homebrewer how far do u keep ur lights from the top of ur plants? just curios thanks man
Thanks, I'd bet that ratio would work well.I've multiplied rounded divided rounded averaged and added the numbers many times over so I may be a bit off and 4-7-7 is not the exact ratio I will end up with, but it's close to what I will get
I will see if my limited math skills can demonstrate how this works...
3-12-6 X 1.5 = 4.5-18-9
11-7-18 + 4.5-18-9= 15.5-25-27
15.5-25-27/3.875= 4-6.45-6.96
So by adding 2 parts H&G and 3 parts Dyna-Gro Bloom I will get an NPK of 4-6.45-6.96
