Cloning help please !!!!

I must have tried 30x's and everytime same crap.
I made sure hands were clean used new razor cut at an angle from the middle of the plant dipped in root gel placed in slightly damp rock wool placed in a dome with shop light a foot above, humidity stayed about 65. End result drooped over died.

Next again washed hands, new razor cut from middle of plant dipped in klonex, but this time placed in nontransparent cups and gave indirect sunlight.

What can I do to make this work? Thank you

Do you spray your clones because since there are no roots they have a hard time uptaking water. I always sprayed my clones with water on the leaves to help feed them and it worked every time. You could also try a different cloning solution if that one is not working for you

Haven't sprayed with water will try that. What's the best solution to use? Thank you for the help this shit has me at my wits-end

Yeah I trim the bottom leafs off. I've heard mixed reviews about a dome. What's your input on a dome?

I use the exact same method except I keep my humidity @ 90-99% and my temps as close to 80F as I can get them. So far, using this method, I have had 100% success 3 different times on about 50 clones from 6 different strains. I can guarantee you, it's your humidity. Also, I make sure they get misted with water a few times a day.

hormex and dip n grow are some good shit check out my thread some good info on cloning in there ask me any question over there . how often are you checking for root constantly doing this can slow down root formation. takes alot practice and patience sometimes

@Alphawolf I usually wait about 2-3 days on the food situation. Think I will try soil instead of rock wool.

Ahh I've been spraying the inside of dome too. So dry the dome instead. Would putting water in a cup in with dome help bring humidity up too?

I'd suggest making a bubble cloner. Easiest way I've found to do things and wouldn't cost more than 15-20 dollars from scratch. I don't even bother with domes, spraying, rockwool, etc. Just pop them in and check on them in a week or so and the relative humidity inside here is crazy low.

IF your using soil. Try to get something without spagnum peat in it or leaf mold or compost, otherwise you may get damping off..... And make sure its sterile.

Rooting Gels - set up favourable conditions for root rot, ( area of high moisture, low oxygen) they also contain preservatives that inhibit root growth. Try using a rooting powder instead... Or just water for that matter. check out supernatural's root burst powder. i always get good success rates.

Ah would explain the root rot I get. Will try powder. I have not tried soil yet for cloning only rock wool and the water only method.

Thought of cutting the card board from toilet paper in half and fill with perlite and place in plastic cup with soil and see what we get.

Perlite will drain off all of the water...Just get some sterile soil doesnt take much, I use the little clear pudding cups personally, In a dome with a small flourecsent, on a heating pad, fully soak the soil (make sure you have drain holes for the excess) take your cut from the plant, make another cut under water so you dont have air sucked inside the end. put that in the rooting powder and tap off the extra, insert a couple inches into the wet soil and slightly firm around the stem, open the dome every day or other day to spray and wipe the dome, give it two weeks...youll be ready to transplant into a pot

after you cut it, dip it in distilled water and cut it again -under water diagonally between 2 nodes(leaf stems) then dip it in dip n gro, etc. water it when you plant it and mist it that first day, keep misting and watering roots for 2 or 3 days , once or twice a day then you can start 1/4 dose fish emulsion or grow big, for example as you start to see new growth.
